This man was raping her, and I couldn’t do absolutely nothing while I watched the gruesome act unfold. She needed my help.

I’d grab him by the balls, twist his manhood until he cried like a baby, and fuck him up the ass with it. I’d teach him to never lay a hand on a woman again. He was scum, and any second now, I’d head straight for him. He wouldn’t even see me coming.

Before I could make a move, the woman spoke. “Phoenix. Please…”

She begged him while she peered straight at me, secretly talking to me and keeping her attacker distracted. He slowed his rapid pumps to hard pounds. The skin of her ass cheeks jiggled in response.

“God, I love it when you beg, baby,” he said while squeezing the flesh of her thigh.

My stomach rolled in disgust.

His attention was fully on her. I had my shot, but her worried hues of hazel never wavered from mine. She remained strong as sharp puffs of air mixed with saliva escaped her lips as his force picked up all over again.

No fucking way in hell would I let him do this to her. I’d save her from this monster if it was the last thing I do on this shithole place called Earth. Father, forgive me because I wouldn’t go quietly while this asshole committed a sin. I’d rescue her, and we’d run free. We’d escape this hell.

Suddenly, someone barged in—a buff man wearing too much hair gel, the slicked-back strands glistening and greasy. He was rough with a mean expression, and he grabbed the man by the shoulders.

“What the fuck, Preston?” Phoenix shouted as his dick released the woman from his terror as the tip dripped cum down her leg. “I’m in the middle of something here!”

Phoenix was not only a poor excuse of a man, he was a sick bastard. He raped a woman in front of an unconscious person, and he engaged in unprotected sex. Motherfucker deserved to rot in the bitter depths of hell.

“Sorry, brother,” Preston muttered a brief apology. “I came to collect our captive and lock her up before the bitch wakes up.”

Shit! No. He can’t take me away. I had to save her. There must be something I could do.

The one thing I knew I could do, I did. I froze. I collapsed back onto the floor, where I lay discardedlike trash thrown to the side of the room, stuck in a darkened corner without a care in the fucking world.

I snapped my eyes shut tight and played the unconscious bitch my captors wanted me to be. I’d lure them into my world, where the adrenaline mixed with fear drove me toward the fight of my life. They’d be unsuspecting of my being awake and ready to strike. I’d give this my all. My survival depended on all the power I had to save myself from these monsters and free a woman I didn’t even know. I would free her from her chains and unleash my fury on these bastards before they could get their hands on us again.

Boots stomped my way. The cold tile vibrated against my cheekbone, and I clenched my teeth. He scared me. Preston was huge and reminded me of a large ogre. A greasy fuck who gave off the odor of a cheap cigar as soon as he entered the room.

Phoenix smacked into the helpless woman again.

“Fuck! Seriously?” Preston shouted. “You can’t wait until I leave the goddamn room to fuck the bitch?”

His loud holler at his careless brother startled me, opening my eyes to untied boots in front of my face. Panicked, I glanced up to see Preston peering over his shoulder instead of in my direction. This was it!I had to think quickly.

Quietly, I grabbed each boot lace while my fingers shook with adrenaline and fear. I looped one knot and fumbled to make another.

Shit, Liv pull it together!

The terror was genuine, but my need to escape was even stronger. I wanted to get out, to see daylight and breathe the fresh air. I didn’t want to be held captive for whatever twisted agenda these idiots and their clan had in store for me.

I held my breath, calmed my hands, and made the last knot. That should do the trick. I reassumed my unconscious bitch act.

“She…” Phoenix snarled, the word on the brink of what resembled a nauseating orgasm. “Will be my wife.”

“Another whore in the family we could do without.” Preston huffed with annoyance and the sound of his voice turned back toward me. “Just what we fucking need.”

My heart pounded in my chest as Preston grabbed me by my shoulders, trying to move me closer to get a better hold, but I stayed as limp as possible. I made his job even harder as he heaved my upper body toward him with little effort, and my legs dangled on the floor. His grasp tangled in my hair, pulling at my scalp, but I ignored the pain. Anything to get away from this bastard and make a run for it.

Deadweight in his evil clenches, he made his move. “Chloroform did the…”

Preston went down. Hard. I didn’t waste a beat as his grip loosened, and I scrambled to my feet, but the asshole caught my damn wedding dress. I fell, landing chin first on the floor, but the pain didn’t stop me. I tugged away from Preston as the material of my dress tore from his grasp, and he swore out loud.

“Fucking sneaky broad… Ah!” His tangent ended as he tripped once more, and a loud thud followed.

In a whirl of heightened anxiety and a glimmer of hope, my bare feet gripped the tiles as I leaped into action. I glanced backward to see Preston flat on his face, his loud groan mixing in with my racing heartbeat, and I turned toward my exit. I was blocked by a gun in my face and Phoenix’s ugly face behind his weapon. The woman I had wanted to save was behind him, pulling up her underwear and shaking her head.
