“That sounds good. Let me know how he is later. I'm sure you two will sort him out.”

“Will do. See you later, Prez.”

“Later Wreck.”

We hang up, and I chuckle. If anyone can help snap Blade back to his normal self, it's Wreck and Shadow. They might be best friends, but they're also pretty close with Blade. Whereas Flame's normally my go-to Enforcer, Blade is Shadow's. Thinking about that, I don't even know if Shadow knows what happened between Blade and Jasmine. He'll definitely know now that Wreck does, though. I've got a feeling Shadow isn't going to be happy at all when he finds out what happened between them. He's protective of those he cares about, and Idon’t doubt that if Jasmine tries anything where he can hear it, he'll react. I'm not going to worry about that though; they can handle Blade, I'm sure, and hopefully they'll have him back to his normal self.

Chapter Thirty-Four

Flame

The bunnies are walking around seriously happy with themselves. I still don't know who caused the issue, but they're all acting like their shit doesn’t stink. God, I wish we could do away with them. I just shake my head as I pass them on the way to Wrath's office.

Knocking on the door, I wait.

“Come in.”Wrath shouts from inside the office.

“Come on, we're going out,”I tell him as I pop my head into his office.

I've got a surprise for him; I just hope it goes over okay.

“And where are we going?”He says with a smile.

“That's a surprise; just get that sexy ass up and moving. Places to be and all that shit.”I say, laughing.

“Don't start talking to me about sexy asses; I haven't had yours in days with everything going on, and I'm dying here. So if you don't want me ruining whatever you have planned and dragging you home to fuck the hell out of you, I'd shut it.”He laughs at me when he sees my eyes heat at his words.

“Fuck babe. As much as I'd love that, no, you're not ruining my plans. Move it.”I clap my hands together to emphasize my point.

Moving from behind his desk, he follows me out of the room. Making our way outside, I straddle my Harley and pull on my helmet, waiting for him to follow my lead. He follows me out of The Compound, and I point my bike towards Devil's Point Town Hall.

It takes fifteen minutes to get there, and when we pull up outside and take our helmets off, Wrath looks at me confused.

“Come on, in we go,”I tell him before I hop off my Harley and make my way towards the doors.

I know I'm being a dick by not just telling him why we're here, but I'm having a little bit too much fun with the suspense I'm keeping him in.

“What’re we doing here?”He asks me, still confused.

"Oh, didn't I mention?"I say with a cheeky smile,“We're getting married.”

I can't help but laugh after I drop that bomb on him. He looks utterly shocked and has stopped walking.

“What do you mean we're getting married?”He asks me, shocked.

“What I mean is, we've waited long enough to be together, and neither of us is a massive fan of over-the-top shit, so we're going in there and having a low-key wedding. I want to be your husband.”I tell him seriously, letting him see in my eyes how much I want this.

“Are you sure about this?”He asks me, looking slightly worried.

“Of course I'm sure; I've always known if I ever got married, it'd be to you. We've waited long enough to be together. I want to be your husband more than anything, but if you don't want that, tell me now, and I'll never bring it up again. We'll forget this ever happened.”My voice is full of emotion.

I'm worried he might not want this. Shit, was this a stupid idea?

“Come on, we're getting married.”He grabs my hand and pulls me inside. I can't stop the wide smile that takes over my face. I'm so relieved by his answer.

Thirty minutes later, we're back on our Harleys on our way home. We did it; we're married. I'm no longer Hunter ‘Flame’ Daniels; I'm now Hunter ‘Flame’ Jacobson. All I've ever wanted is Wrath, and now he's tied to me for life; he's my husband. Fuck, I love the sound of that.

Traveling down the road, I'm lost in thought about how happy I am. I don't see the truck that comes out of nowhere crashing into the back of my bike, sending my bike flying through the air with me on it. I fly over the handlebars and land hard. Fuck, that hurt. I was behind Wrath and have no idea if he knows what happened. I lie there, trying to take account of my body and any injuries I might have, when I realize the truck that hit me hasn't stopped; it's still flying down the road.
