Even just his finger had the power to drive me half to madness. Was this what I’d been missing all those years I’d been pining over Max?

No. It never would have beenthisgood.

Thiswas everything.

And I only wanted it with Wynn, with Cas.

Slowly, he pulled his finger in and out, in and out, as his thumb kept a careful movement around my clit. I couldn’t keep the whimpers from pouring out of my mouth as he continued to suck my neck. My thighs clenched, my back arched. He didn’t take long to get me right to the edge. He inserted another finger, rubbing my clit at the same time, and everything within me exploded. I didn’t leap off that edge. I catapulted over it, down into the raging depths of the most intense orgasm I’d ever felt. My entire body went taut as the waves crashed over me. My hands gripped his arms, his back, anything that could give me purchase against the overwhelming tide.

“Oh my God,” I exhaled when it finally eased. “Wow. And that wasn’t even your dick.”

“I could come just from watching you,” he chuckled, taking my lips in another kiss. “But I’d rather be deep inside.”

Staring me directly in the face, he sucked each finger individually, releasing them from his mouth with a littlepop.

“Holy shit.”

“Next time—” he said as he leaned down to kiss me again, my taste faint on his tongue, “—you’ll wait to come until I tell you to.”

I grinned.Next time. “You want to edge me into oblivion.”

“Pleasure is more intense when it’s carefully controlled,” he murmured as he pushed a lock of hair out of my face. His cheeks were ruddy with pleasure, his hair a disheveled mess from where I’d dragged my fingers through it.

He had never looked hotter than right at this moment.

“You can control my pleasure any time,” I said as my fingers traveled down to brush against the hard planes of his abs and the defined muscles of his hips. His dick still pressed into my thigh, and I was nowhere near done with this encounter yet. I wanted to feel him, make him fall apart the same way he made me. “Now it’s my turn.”

Behind us, the elevator door pinged. Our attentions snapped to it, only to see Ciel barreling out of it. “Wynn, you need to hear this?—”

His voice cut off when his eyes landed on Wynn between my legs, with my hand halfway down his shorts.

Was thatlustthat flashed across Ciel’s face?

He stared brazenly for a few intense moments before he cleared his throat and looked away.

“Wynn,” he repeated, then paused.

After a brief yet claiming kiss, Wynn slowly, reluctantly, disentangled himself from my legs and sat up, barely hiding the fact that he was still insanely hard. “Did you find something?”

Ciel glanced at me, clearly uncomfortable. It wasobviouswhat Wynn and I were doing moments before, but he acted thesame way when we first met hours ago. Was it something I did? Did he not like me for some reason?

“Do you want me to leave, Ciel?” I sat up, trying to fix my clothes discreetly. I understood I was in their space. I had no right to be here, and I’m sure Ciel wasn’t super comfortable with the fact that it looked like I had just waltzed in here to seduce his sworn brother. Of course, it would be weird. If it was easier for him to talk to Wynn without me here, I would leave.

He looked at Wynn and then back at me before he quickly shook his head no. He took a deep breath. “The Russians and the Italians are at war.”

My head snapped up, eyes wide. “What?”

“I sent the proof of the Italians with the Russian drugs to my client, and the Russians already retaliated.” His throat bobbed, and every word that he spoke carried tension. Not an angry or upset tension, but he needed to think about each word before saying it. “They just hit an underground Italian casino. Casualties on both sides.”

What the fuck?

Wynn had told me what Ciel had seen at the warehouse. What Max had done. First trafficking, now this. What the hell was Max thinking? It hadn’t fully hit me until this moment that Max’s actions threatened to undo everything my father had built. Our empire could come crumbling down in a war with the Russians, leaving me with absolutely nothing.

“What about Cas? Did you find anything?” I asked.

“Not exactly. It seems like Volpe has been trying to shake things up with some new business ventures, but we have no idea how he’ll react to war. Idoknow that the Italians are on high alert. They’ve already sent out messages to consolidate power and increase defenses. It’s what the Five Families have always done—their first strategy is to protect the Family. Caspian will likely be at one of their most protected locations.”

“That could be good for us,” Wynn said.
