Hoe ass nigga.

“Man you and Bino fucking whipped, fam,” Scoot teased. “I recorded that shit just now.”

I glanced his way and shook my head. “You childish as fuck, bruh.”

“I might post it on Cliqued. Get that lil bread from the views and interactions and shit.”

“No, nigga, Solo be on that shit.”

“Shit, son son need to see his pops put in work.”

“Naw, he don’t, mothafucka. And since when you be fucking calling him son son? Any other time it’s neph this and neph that.”

“Definitely my nephew. I’m just trying to keep up with all these kids’ lingo and shit.”

“Grow up, Elijah.”

“Man you been around sis too fucking much, my nigga.” He frowned. “Quit calling me Elijah.”

“Then quit acting like a hoe.”

“Anyways, what y’all eating at Ms. Gladis’s crib today? A nigga is starving.”

“You not going, Scoot.” I shook my head and accepted the blunt he passed my way. “I’m meeting her people. I don’t need y’all niggas getting on my nerves and shit.”

“Bruh, KK’s grandma is like me and Bino’s grandma too. She loves us like we her own.”

“And?”

“And I know if I call her then we can come.”

“But you not gon’ call.” I chuckled. “Damn bruh, can I get in with her people without y’all two?”

“Aw, I get it.” He smiled. “You worried all the attention gon’ be on us?”

“Be for real, bro.” I laughed. “I just need to be on my best behavior and when y’all two idiots around that shit is impossible.”

“Ms. Gladis and Ms. Ice mad cool though for real, bro. Ice kind of scary but she still cool as fuck. I don’t know how that’s gon’ go for you though because you got their precious KK pregnant.”

“Bruh, why y’all never told me Ice and K-Dot had a kid?” I asked, pulling into the parking lot of my apartment.

Scoot shrugged as he rolled another blunt I wouldn’t be smoking with his ass. I was high as fuck already and had to be around Kaori’s people. I’d fuck around and be faded on her grandmother’s couch or some shit.

“Shit I really thought everyone knew, but then again ya people kept yo’ ass sheltered right up until they moved away and put KK in private school.”

“We coulda been married by now or some shit.”

Scoot looked my way and grinned. “Nigga, I never heard you even mention marriage before. Sis got you out ya body like that?”

“A little,” I admitted with a shrug. “I think I love her already.” I sighed. “I feel like a bitch.”

“Yeah you should,” he replied then laughed because I jabbed him. “Chill, man.”

“You weren’t supposed to agree, nigga.”

“I mean shit, what kind of hoe ass shit is love at first sight?” he teased. “We real street niggas and yo’ ass in love after what? It ain’t been years or no shit.”

“It don’t take years, idiot.” I shook my head as I killed the engine. “But damn, I thought it took longer than a couple months too.”
