I gasped when his hand pulled my pants down, his fingers finding my soaking clit. A wanton moan fell from my lips as my head tilted back, pleasure rushing through me.

“Chris… fuck!” I moaned the moment his finger plunged into me.

My back arched as he squeezed a second into me, stretching me out as he began pounding me hard and fast. The slight pain from his penetration stung, but the pleasure disguised the burning intrusion.

Fuck, this felt so amazing…

“You feel so fucking good… Raihana…” he murmured, looking into my eyes. His eyes widened, returning to their piercing green, and he looked down at me as if seeing me for the first time. “Shit…”

His hand slipped out of me faster than lightning, and he jumped off the bed, backing away from me. His chest was heaving as he assessed the situation. I sat up slowly, the pain in my chest growing. Was he going to change his mind? He picked up his shirt, looking at me as he pulled it on.

“Are you really running away? Isn’t this what you’re good at?” I asked coldly. He walked to the bed, buckling his belt before crouching near the bed, and to my surprise, he pulled my top back down, covering mybreasts.

“I can’t do that to you,” he said quietly. His anger was gone, and it was replaced with a storm of emotions I couldn’t comprehend, my own messing with my head.

“Why not…” I asked angrily.

Was it a joke to him? Why wasn’t I like any other woman? Was I not good enough for him?

“Because you’re more than that,” he said quietly.

He stood up suddenly, turning and exiting the room swiftly, leaving me feeling ice cold. I felt… cheap.

I placed my head in my hand, suddenly feeling alone. I had been about to give my first time to someone without even thinking twice about the consequences. To someone I disliked, a player who just loved to sleep around with anyone, and I was one of the stupid ones to fall for his charms. The worst thing was that he had left me hanging. Someone who was able to fuck any woman without a damn care had said no to me... and his excuse? Bullshit. Like he fucking cared.

I picked up my phone, throwing it with full force across the room, my eyes blazing as I felt my power surge forth.

The door slammed open to reveal Chris, but before I could even react, he was in front of me in a flash, hitting the back of my neck before my world went black…

First Date

Delsanra

Ihad just about gotten to say goodbye to the King and Queen when Rayhan whisked me away. Not once did his hand leave me, constantly caressing my thigh or holding my hand.

He had told me at least seven times that I looked good. He really had a wide range of words to use; sexy, beautiful, ravishing... by the seventh time, I had to tell him to stop because it was making my cheeks burn.

We had driven through the country roads and stopped at the edge of a woody area. I didn’t ask questions, but my curiosity was piqued. The way Kiara had dressed me, I had been rather nervous about going to some posh restaurant… but out here?

He held my hand, leading me through the trees until I saw a stunning, luxurious cabin illuminated by the lights that were lit inside. I blinked. I had not been expecting him to bring me to a cabin in the middle of the woods…

“I thought you might prefer something a little low-key rather than a fancy restaurant…”

“Oh, definitely!” I said, then looked down. “I’m a little overdressed, huh?”

“Not at all,” he promised, kissing my hand softly. “You look-”

“I know,” I said, laughing slightly. “You’ve told me a hundred times already.”

“I don’t think it was a hundred,” he remarked, leading me to the villa. The door was unlocked, and we stepped inside.

My heart skipped a beat as I stared at the entrance hall. Candles were lit, smelling of orchids and vanilla. There was a scatter of white petals littering the floor and a few huge bouquets of flowers. Rayhan reached into one, selected a single orchid, and held it out to me.

“Your scent has hints of orchids,” he said. I looked up from the flower, surprised.

“Really? Being a werewolf with such a scent must be weird, right?” I tucked my hair behind my ear as he led me through the hall and out towards the back.

“Not really, it’s useful, especially when it means tracking down our mates.” He winked at me, and I shook my head.
