I snorted. “That’s a great attitude to have when you have two weeks left on Micha’s deadline. You must not like your sister that much.”

Micha’s threat wasn’t needed. That didn’t mean I wouldn’t use it. Whenever I brought up her sister, Marnie’s eyes would round as an enticing spark of panic flashed across her face. I got hard just thinking about it.

“Fine.” She slammed her fist down on the mattress and shifted to the left. But it was the small wince I noticed that made the corner of my mouth curl. “I’ll eat your stupid food, though a table and chair would be much more efficient.”

Nice try.

“So would no clothes, but you don’t hear me complaining.”

Honestly, I gave that outfit three hours tops before it was shredded.

I should’ve left her clothes in her dorm room. Ah, well, it was done now, and I did enjoy going through her personal effects. She’d been sticking her nose in places where it didn’t belong. If Lou knew what she had on her laptop…

“Be good, Little Bird.” I gave her a small wave and turned to walk out.

“You’re leaving me alone…In here?”

“I have dishes to do.” How much trouble could she possibly get into?

This was my bedroom. Yes, there were weapons in here, and some were within reach of her chained ankle, but I liked having Marnie on my bed.

“What if I find something?”

The cocky clip in her tone had me tempted to say fuck it and tear those clothes off her.

Instead, I glanced over my shoulder and shot her a wicked smirk. “Remember what happened last time?”

Her face paled while my cock jumped.

Seeing her come at me with that knife was the single most erotic moment of my life. Unfortunately for her, Marnie’s hand-eye coordination was shit. It took three seconds to disarm her, and she didn’t even manage to scratch me. It was a tad disappointing. Some self-defense lessons might be in order.

“Are you going to watch me eat too?”

“Maybe.” I’d like to slide something else between those lips.

The little minx was too good at reading my cues. I don’t know what was hotter. That she knew me well enough to push my buttons or the way she sucked a melon ball out of her fingers.

“Mmmm, that’s so good. You want to feed me the next one?” She even leaned forward and parted her lips.

Careful, Little Bird, you shouldn’t poke the bear.

“In case you haven’t figured it out yet, I like teeth play.”

That dropped the seductive look off her face.

Marnie snapped her mouth shut and sat back to glare at me.

I needed to get out of here before the flush crawling across her chest led to another seven-day marathon.

“Eat your fucking food,” I growled and walked out before I could change my mind.

The dishes didn’t take long enough, so I occupied myself cleaning the kitchen.

Why not give my Bird more time to find something fun to play with? There was a reason I left two knives and a paddle in the top drawer of the bedside table. I didn’t even turn on the camera to spy on her. The unknown would be a nice change.

It would also give me a chance to test my skills. Since Marnie got here, I’d been neglecting my workout routine. Though one could argue I still got plenty of exercise.

The surprise I got when I finished cleaning wasn’t Marnie lunging at me with a weapon in hand. It was the doorbell.
