Ashley’s brow rose. “Did you just stick up for me?”
Huh? I guess I did.
“Way to go, Sunshine. You found your balls.” Liam bopped me in the shoulder with his fist. “You might want to pick better friends, though. Cunt tends to rub off on people.”
That was rude. I kind of grown used to it though. Especially with those two.
“It’s not mandatory for you to prance around without a shirt on.”
Ashley had a point. I don’t think I’d ever seen Liam with a shirt on. His abs had become a normal sight. Like the floor or walls.
He wasn’t as bad as Tobias, who I’d seen walking around with literally nothing on. More than once.
“And deny everyone all of this?” Liam’s hands waved over his chiselled torso. “That’d just be cruel.”
We all rolled our eyes at that one.
“You said you were looking for me?”
I could’ve kissed Sophia for changing the subject. The last thing I wanted was to be caught in the middle of another hour long verbal sparring match.
He nodded. “Gregor is going to be here in a couple hours. Wanna tag team him with me?”
“Sure,” Sophia shrugged.
It continually amazed me how causally people around here talked about sex. Maybe that was my problem? Was I too uptight for Lorenzo? Was that why he treated me the way he did?
Would he be more loving if I unwound a bit?
I glanced at the three of them and blew out my question before I lost my nerve. “How do you get a guy to kiss you?”
“Oh no, honey,” Sophia waggled her finger back and forth, “Lorenzo doesn’t kiss.”
Liam crossed his arms and eyed me. “I bet he’d kiss her.”
“I hate to say it, but I agree with Liam.”
Ashley agreeing with Liam?! This was serious.
“Are you okay?” I asked, a little worried that she’d gone psychotic for a second.
“I don’t know?” Her hand flew up to her chest as she let out an awkward gagging sound. “I think I might throw up.”
I literally got up to look for a bucket, until Sophia grabbed my arm.
“Oh no, no, no, you are not going anywhere after a question like that.”
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Ashley asked.
The three of them shared a smile as Liam nodded and said, “It’s definitely makeover time.”
Oh no.
I staredat my reflection and blinked twice. That couldn’t be me. Could it? She moved when I did. Head tipped to the side, shoulder up and face twisted in confusion.
I lifted my hand and gingerly touched the full curls draped over my shoulder. Light bounced off my locks, highlighting the ginger undertones. Was my hair always this shiny?
“Damn girl,” Liam whistled, “You look hot as hell.”
