My dick hardened as Kya’s tiny body trembled with shivers. Poor thing was cold. I may have had the maids remove the blankets when they came to change the bedding. Right after I lowered the temperature, of course.

My sweet little pet was too busy in the shower, humming in satisfaction, to notice. She thought her purity would be a turn off. Why did she think that scumbag kept trying to sneak into her room?

“Should’ve known better,” I said, and swallowed down a mouthful of brandy.

Her beauty was unmistakable, even through the green tint of night-vision. The image of her cunt inches from my face was permanently ingrained in my mind. Glistening pink flesh, with the sweetest mouth watering aroma. I could’ve dived in and devoured her, and she’d love every second of it.

Naive little thing had no idea how easy it would be to take her body. I doubted she noticed the way her chest shuddered with staggered breaths, or how her pert little nipples stiffened.

It wouldn’t take much. A lick here, a touch there, and I’d own every inch of that creamy complexion. Unfortunately for her, it was her mind I was after.

“Tsk, tsk, Pet,” I whispered, “You shouldn’t tempt a monster.”

We’ll rip your heart out and feast on it while you watch.

A knock echoed through my office, drawing my attention off the computer screen. The door opened and Jackson strode in.

The fact that he just walked into my personal space pissed me off, but not as much as the blonde slave following him.

Ciara tipped her blonde head my way and bowed, “Sir.”

“To what do I owe this honor?” I said, deciding to focus on my brother and ignore the slave.

Jackson rarely left his office, and when he did, it was to give someone shit.

“Came to see if you have any leads?”

My gaze shifted to the stack of papers. “Not yet.”

He ran his fingers over the cherrywood bookshelf by the door, and cocked a brow my way. “Have you even looked?”

“What do you think I’ve been doing in here?”

“Spying on your pet,” he said, grimacing at the dust on his fingertips.

As far as Jackson was concerned, work came first. In this case, he had a point. The longer this thief went unpunished, the more money we lost. Not to mention what else he might be doing.

If someone was willing to cross men like us, then there wasn’t anything stopping them from selling secrets to our enemies.

“This is important, Lorenzo.”

I knew that.

“More important than your petty revenge on Carmine.”

I rolled my eyes. “I’m not in the mood for your ‘he’s our brother speech’.”

“He is our brother.”

“No,” my glare met Jackson’s stern eyes, “he’s your brother. Mine died the same day our father did.”

My brother sighed and strode across the room to drop down in the chair across from me. “I didn’t come here for this.”

“Then what did you come here for?”

Jackson knew how much I hated his overprotective shit. I was perfectly capable of handling things on my own. I didn’t need big brother checking up on me.

He braced his elbows on the desk and leaned forward. “When’s the last time you used a slave?”
