“Anything else need to be set up?” Chaos asked, bringing a halt to Jeremy’s whistling.

“Nope, I think we’re all good,” Jeremy replied as he gave the rope a tug to make sure it was secure before heading over to the smallest of the totes that Gray had left beside the picnic table. “Do you want the first aid kit in the boat?”

“Might be a good idea,” Gray said. “Just in case one of us winds up with a hook stuck somewhere it’s not supposed to be.”

“Been thinking about maybe getting another piercing.”

Snorting, Gray strode up beside him and reached into the tote, grabbing the sunscreen while Jeremy pulled out the first aid kit.

“I doubt that would be a good idea, even if your tetanus shot is up to date.”

“It is,” Jeremy assured him. “Haven made me go get one before he’d let me help out around the shop.”

“Good for him,” Gray said as he flipped the lid open on the lotion, slicked up his hands, and began applying it up the back ofJeremy’s neck, moving the thin material of his tank top sleeves to the side so he could coat his shoulders and down his arms.

Sighing, Jeremy tilted his head, gazing up as Gray applied the lotion, the back of his head pillowed against Gray’s shoulder. Gray dropped a kiss on his forehead, chuckling at the scowl Jeremy shot him. It didn’t go away until Gray kissed him properly and tugged him flush against his body.

In hindsight, he should have known Jeremy would take full advantage of their positions, but the first squirm caught him completely off guard. When his backside rubbed over the front of Gray’s jean shorts, Gray groaned and tightened the arm he’d snaked around Jeremy’s waist. Somehow, he still managed to squirm a little more until Gray snaked a hand beneath his tank top and pinched his nipple, bringing his movements to a moan-filled halt.

“Un-huh, you didn’t expect to have the tables turned on you, did you?” Gray murmured, breaking the kiss so he could stare down into his eyes while he lightly traced his fingertip over the pebbled nub before pinching it again.

“Was hopeful.”

“Oh, really?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Well, I’m glad I didn’t disappoint then,” Gray growled, gliding his hand over Jeremy’s peck to reach the other nipple.

The sharp hiss as Jeremy inhaled through his teeth made Gray shiver and rock his hips, just enough for Jeremy to feel how much he was turning Gray on. Out there beneath the open sky, Gray shoved his free hand down the front of Jeremy’s swim trunks, gliding his fingertips over Jeremy’s cock, not stroking, just touching and teasing until his moans drowned out the nearby birdsong.

“You’re gonna do a whole lot of moaning this weekend,” Gray growled in his ear. “And I’m going to enjoy listening to every sound.”

Each word was drawn out and carefully enunciated as he rubbed his jean-covered cock against the back of Jeremy’s swim shorts. Gray felt him start to tremble more and more each time he was pinched or caressed, their groans mingling. Beneath wispy clouds and a brilliant blue sky, they came within moments of each other, Jeremy’s knees buckling, forcing Gray to hold him up, which wasn’t easy, considering the state he was in. Bracing himself, Gray clung to him, panting and struggling to get his own breathing in check, in desperate need of a wardrobe change.

They were still trembling as Gray drew his hand out of Jeremy’s shorts, but somehow Jeremy found enough energy to grab Gray’s wrist so he could lick the sticky remains of his release off Gray’s fingers. The little shit even started sucking on Gray’s fingers. The sinfully wicked smirk Jeremy shot him when he finally stepped away left Gray wishing he was back in his twenties again, when his recovery period had been much, much shorter.

“I think I’m ready for a swim now,” Jeremy said as he reached for the hem of his tank top and started peeling it off. “And since someone messed up my clothes and we’re all alone out here, I don’t think I’ll bother replacing them until we’re ready to go fishing.”

“I messed up…?” Gray sputtered, gaping at him as Jeremy tossed his tank top aside and unbuttoned his shorts. “You started it! All I was doing was putting sunscreen on you so you wouldn’t burn!”

“That’s not the way I remember it,” Jeremy teased, winking as he let his shorts and boxers drop around his ankles, stepped out of them, and kicked them aside, along with his shoes.

Gray toed off his sneakers and shucked off his clothes while Jeremy hopped around trying to pull his socks off, waiting for the perfect moment to charge him and toss him over his shoulder.

“Let’s see how you remember this,” Gray said as he carried a squirming, thrashing, laughing Jeremy to the pond, wading in with him before trying to toss him into the water.

Of course, his clingy octopus managed to squirm over Gray’s shoulder, wiggling until he’d managed to cling sideways across Gray’s back, dangling upside down over the water. Okay, well, his feet were right there, so Gray decided to tickle them just to see if the soles were ticklish or not.

He had his answer in seconds.

Jeremy squealed and forgot to hang on, landing in the water with a splash and a yelp. He came up giggling and splashing water at Gray, who was more than happy to splash him back, inciting an epic battle. Water was flung, kicked, and hurled until they were drenched and gasping, laughing so hard they had to pause their war to catch their breath.

“I will remember it as the worst attempt to toss someone in a pond ever,” Jeremy snarked. “Totally zero out of ten.”

“Smartass,” Gray quipped, halfheartedly flinging water his way.

“Every day, all day.”
