“Angel?” he asked, knowing she’d understand.
“It’s nothing,” she whispered, but her eyes traveled to Tiernan, who stood at the side of the bed, his fingertips touching hers. She’d reached out to him. His angel needed him, too.
Maddox pulled her arm away from Tiernan. Loss traveled the bond. Immense loss.
He hated that he’d caused her pain. And Tiernan’s too as his eyes lowered to the ground. The male wasn’t a fighter, except for her. He’d fought for her several times now. He had defended and loved her from the first time they’d met. There was no doubt in Maddox’s mind; Tiernan would sacrifice his life for her.
Maddox pressed his body to hers and rolled her with him on the bed so she lay on top of him, his cock still in her ass. There was only one way to do this, to ensure his wolf would fully accept another male.
“Blood-bond her now, Tiernan.”
Tiernan’s face lit at the prospect, and his eyes swiftly darted to her. “Alyssa, do you still want me?”
“Oh, Tiernan, how can you even ask that?” She held out her palm, as if the fact that Maddox still had his cock in her didn’t change a thing. It probably didn’t for her. Her heart had more than enough room for three males.
Tiernan never looked to Maddox for permission as he leaned forward and kissed Alyssa.
“It’s not a knife, but it’s the best I can do,” Rafe said as he partially shifted his hand, producing one very sharp claw. Partially shifting was a feat not many shifters could do, let alone maintain for any length of time.
Alyssa held her left palm up. Rafe sliced across it without delay. Tiernan held out his right palm. The scent of rich, coppery blood filled the air. When Tiernan pressed his palm against Alyssa’s, their fingers entwined.
Elation flooded the bond, quieting the low growl of Maddox’s wolf. Maddox’s fingertips stroked over her breasts, drawing those nipples into tight, hard peaks. The movement caught Tiernan’s attention.
Lust, possession, need… and love struck Maddox all at once, but it didn’t feel like Alyssa, not fully. Maddox’s eyes lifted to Tiernan. Both shifters knew in that moment that they were connected not just to their female, but to each other.
And it felt right sharing her, being bonded to Tiernan as well as his angel. He’d always be there for her, even when Maddox had to return to his pack. She would be protected and loved.
Slowly, Tiernan unclasped his fingers and inspected her palm and his. “Already healed, babe.” He closed his eyes, no doubt looking inward for the bond. A huge smile crossed his fac. “I feel it. I feel the bond!”
A tear struck Maddox’s chest. He cupped Alyssa’s cheek, unable to see her expression, but he felt her joy, her relief. “The bonding ceremony isn’t quite complete, angel,” Maddox whispered in her ear.
“Traditional blood-bonding is following by a run, precious,” Rafe explained, the male looking pleased for them, although somewhat distant. He’d never know the same joy Maddox and Tiernan now shared with Alyssa, and for that, Maddox couldn’t help but feel sorry for their alpha. But he’d have Alyssa in his life still, even after Maddox returned to his pack.
“A run?” she asked
“When the male catches the female, he fucks her to complete his claim.”
“Must you always be so crude?” she said, her voice playful and light.
“It’s part of his charm,” Maddox said, grinning as his hands slid to her thighs.
“Consider yourself caught,” Rafe said, trapping her hands and holding them above her head while Maddox spread her wide for Tiernan.

ALYSSA
Alyssa couldn’t believethis was happening. She’d thought when the first blood-bond with Tiernan failed, she’d lost her chance for that deep connection with him, like the one she had with Maddox. She didn’t believe it would work a second time, but it had. Later, they’d have to explain it to her. Right now, she simply wanted to bathe in the glory of feeling a bond to both Maddox and Tiernan.
Two separate bonds, but each was lit as clear as day inside of her. There was no confusion as to what each shifter was feeling. She had worried about Maddox when he’d entered the cabin and found Rafe thrusting into her. Maddox’s jealousy and possessiveness had slammed against her when he re-opened the bond, but something had changed for him as well. He didn’t stay mad or jealous. Instead, his emotions morphed into trust, hope, and joy, for her… and for Tiernan. He’d fully accept sharing her with Tiernan. Perhaps that’s why blood-bonding Tiernan again had worked. No matter the reason, she couldn’t be happier.
She glanced at Rafe, who stood at the head of the bed, holding her hands above her, trapping her and leaving her helpless to her shifters. Okay, she could be happier… if Rafe blood-bonded her as well. But she wouldn’t push him to risk his shifter abilities, not when he had a pack to worry about, and not just their pack of four. The male needed to return home to confront his father and claim his birthright. She, Maddox, and Tiernan would go with him, support him, do anything for him. There was no question in her heart that these males would support herandRafe.
Rafe’s grin made her heart seize. He’d just made love to her minutes ago, but he fully supported Tiernan’s blood-bond. The alpha held no jealousy in him. He was warm, considerate, and tender, despite being a bit crude at times.
“What are you waiting for, Tiernan?” Rafe asked. “Fuck the living daylights out of her.”
“I think you’re enjoying this way too much,” she said to Rafe.
