She thrust her hips forward, seeking his heat, but he denied her, denied them both, as he sank into her only an inch and withdrew again. His balls tightened with the need to thrust and claim her, to spill his seed deep within her as her hot breath caressed his shoulder. Firm breasts pressed against his chest, but it was her breathy moans filling his ears that captured him.

“Fuck me already,” she begged, pushing herself onto him, further than he’d gone.

He braced his arms against the desk, unable to pull himself away from her, ready to let her use him, but he wanted more than her body. He wanted her, all of her.

“Say it, Hannah. Please,” he begged as his muscles shook from holding back.

“I’m yours,” she whispered in his ear. “Now, fuck me like you’ll never let me go.”

Sersie thrust into her in one swift motion. As she wrapped her legs around him and he lifted her from the desk, the sense of completion gave him a strength he hadn’t known in a very long time. He slammed her against the wall. Her nails dug into his back as he pumped into and out of her.

Her lips fell to her ears. “You’re mine too, Sersie. Never forget that.”

This wasn’t real. None of this was real.

Flight hadn’t been real either, but he’d found himself addicted to it too easily.

He was already addicted to her.

Her mouth took his, even as he reached down and pinched her clit. Her head fell back, exposing her slim throat as he thrust into her one last time. Her walls seized his cock, pulling his seed from him.

Sersie leaned his forehead against her chest, waiting for his cock to stop pulsing. He didn’t want to release her. He’d stay inside of her, letting her breath wash over him forever if he could.

“No regrets, Sersie. Ever,” she said as she lowered her legs and slid off of him.

“Yours Hannah. Always yours.”

Her hands sank into his hair, not wild and desperate as before. Gentle, soothing, but just as needy. “I wish we were home, so we could slide into bed together.”

“To sleep?”

She nodded, with large eyes so innocent, so sweet. God, he’d never be able to resist her, in anything.

“I want to feel you against me in bed,” she said, so there’d be no misunderstanding. “To wake up next to you, to feel your breath on my neck and your arms around me. I want to feel like you’re mine, that you’re not seeing her when you hold me.”

“Rissa?” That surprised him.

She nodded.

“She’s in my past. She means nothing to me.”

“But your fear of her, of what she did to you isn’t gone. It’s still inside of you. I want you to trust me, and I’m not sure you can. I won’t betray you,” she said as her hands moved to his bi-ceps.

“She didn’t just betray me, Hannah, she got me hooked, for The Company.”

“The Company?” she asked, her voice filled with shock.

“Sumpter Corp, the corporation she wanted me to defect to, is a subsidiary of The Company. The Company set me up. Sent her in to get me hooked so they could take me down, send me here, keep me from working for their competitors. They set me up, to control me as long as they wanted.”

He never told anyone that before, not even Vaughn who had seen him at his worst, several times now. Divulging what a fool he’d been, how he’d let the Company lure him in so they could control him was mortifying. And yet Hannah didn’t laugh or hesitate with him.

“That’s why you’ve been using Flight all these years after you arrived here? To show them that they can’t control you.”

Smart and beautiful. “When I arrived here, I was addicted. They assigned Vaughn to me. Once I got clean, I started working in the botany and chem labs.” He nodded to the door at the back of his office.

“I didn’t miss Flight. Certainly, didn’t miss Rissa. I actually liked being here, can you imagine that? The labs here are as good as what I had on Argus, plus there’s a wealth of specimens on Narkos I’ve never seen before. I hiked, took flora samples, got to follow my passion. Then about eight months after I arrived, they started controlling my research. Dresden ordered me to develop more powerful drugs. Worse than Flight. To get people hooked so The Company could turn around and sell their customers the antidote.

“I fought them the only way I could. Took their asset away. Took myself out of the game by taking Flight again.”
