Gage circled Tony.Both men panting and sweat beading down their faces.When Tony blinked, Gage lunged.Despite Gage being taller, Tony was lightning quick which always made their sparing matches interesting.Gage cursed when Tony slipped out of the hold, ducked, and flipped Gage onto his back and pinned him.
“You’re getting slower in your old age Carson.”Tony laughed.
“Fuck you Pace.”Gage hissed.
Tony just laughed harder as he extended a hand to Gage.“You nearly had me a few times there.Where did you learn that one hold?”
Gage swiped his forearm over his brow, “Huh?Oh, that one.Stace taught it to me last year.This weekend I’m going with her to check out that Krav Maga gym that opened here a few months ago.She said her friend and sparring partner at her old gym in New York called here and vetted her.”
“That’s hot.”Tony said.
“Excuse me?”Gage demanded.
“Hey buddy take it easy; I’m not poaching your woman.I just think it’s hot in general when a woman can fight like that.I think it adds to the allure when women can stand up for themselves.”Tony explained as they climbed out of the ring.
“Okay, I see your point, but if you value your pretty face man, I’d keep things like that to yourself whenever Hawk and Alora are around.You know how he is with her.”Gage warned with a laugh.
“Wish you had told me that three months ago.”Tony grumbled.When Gage cocked a brow, Tony sighed.“Okay, so right after Alora got the clean bill of health, she told Lance she wanted to learn more self-defense.Lance had brought her here.He called Krista and they were teaching her some things.I just happened to be here working out that same day.Well, you know me and my big mouth.I simply stated that Alora was looking hot kicking Hawk’s ass and...fuck, next thing I know, Hawk is out of the ring, grabbing me by the neck and throwing me in the ring like I was a damned ragdoll.”
Gage couldn’t help it and started laughing.“Oh, good lord.I wish I had seen that.”
“Krista and Alora just stood there laughing as Lance proceeded to “teach me my manners” as he put it.”Tony pouted.
“Serves you right jackass.”Gage said, his laughter dying.“Lance isn’t like Ethan when it comes to his woman.”
“I know that.Now.”Tony shot back as they walked into the locker room.
