“I love you too.”

Cord met her halfway when she leaned in for a kiss. As their kiss heated up, Moira’s movements became faster. Cord wrapped his arms around her and flipped their positions. Pinning her wrists over her head, he took control and drove deep. Moira’s legs locked around him as she gave in to him. Cord wanted to feel her release first and thrust harder and faster. In seconds, she screamed his name as she tightened around him. He erupted then, groaning her name as he emptied into her.

“Bloody hell, that’s a good way to start the day.” She sighed as the tremors faded from them.

“I’ll say it was.” Cord agreed, rolling onto his back, pulling her into him.

“So, what are our plans for the day?” she asked.

“I’d love to spend the whole day right here, in the bed, naked and screwing like rabbits.” He answered.

“I think I could do that. Think you can keep up?” she teased.

“You bet that Irish ass I can.”

Moira

Moira stiffly slipped from the bed and moved toward the bathroom. Turning on the shower, she reflected on the day before. True to his word, Cord had kept her in bed naked all day yesterday. Before Cord, all day sex-a-thons were something she had only read and wrote about. Cord had not just fucked her, but also made love to her. She had many fans ask what the difference was. Moira had always answered the difference was the feelings involved. She now knew that it was more than that. When Cord genuinely made love, it was so different than when they just screwed.

When she stepped under the hot spray, she moaned as the water massaged away the stiffness. Hell, she could still smell Cord’s scent clinging to her. She remembered how after her and Phillip would have sex, she would almost immediately grab a shower. But with Cord she liked his smell on her skin. Everything about the man appealed to her. Smiling, she shampooed and conditioned her hair before washing her body.

Twenty minutes later, wrapped in only a towel, she exited the bathroom and walked to the closet where she had hung up some of her clothes. Today, she and Cord had agreed to meet up for dinner. When he left earlier that morning, he told her to relax and have a day to herself. Moira selected an ankle length sun dress and a pair of flip flops. Twisting her hair up and clipping it into place, she glanced at the bedside alarm clock and saw it was nearly lunch time. Deciding to eat out, Moira grabbed her purse and keys and headed into town for a quick bite. Thirty minutes later she was seated in the very restaurant where she had first seen Cord sitting at the bar. She had just placed her order when her phone rang.

“Hello?”

“Hey girl. So, I see you’re still alive.”Roxi joked.

“Aye, alive and kicking.”

“How are you enjoying St. Lucia? I told you you’d love it.”

“I’m enjoying meself so much Roxi. It’s amazing here.”

“And the eye candy?”

Moira paused. Should she tell Roxi about Cord?

“Moira? Hey, you still there?”

“I met someone Roxi.” Moira blurted out.

“WHAT? Okay. You’ve got to spill. Now.”

And so, Moira did. She told her best friend about spotting Cord at the bar that first day and how the next evening they had dinner together. For once, Roxi remained completely silent as Moira told her everything that had happened and how much she was enjoying being with Cord. How they went sight-seeing together, dinners, dancing, and just hanging out. “I swear Roxi, I’ve never felt anything like this. Nor have I met someone who just wants to hang out like Cord does.”

“Wow. He sounds like a helluva guy. You said he owns a couple of bars in New York?”

“Yes, O’Brien’s Tap.”

“Wait one damn minute. Are you talking about Cord O’Brien?”

“How do you know…”

“Hello! Moira, Cord O’Brien is one of Manhattan’s most eligible bachelors. He and his brother Collen. Oh my god, my best friend is shacking up with…”

“Roxi, you can’t say anything. You must promise me. Hell, I haven’t even told my parents and I don’t think he’s said anything to his family either.”

“Moira, I promise I won’t tell a soul.”Roxi paused,“So, what are you feeling for him?”
