Van’s tongue leaves my pussy and moves up to lap at my clit, and his fingers plunge inside of me. Akor uses the moment to shove his finger in a tiny bit farther in the back, and Kastros reaches for the nipple he’s not sucking and tweaks it.
Oh. My.
If I were a mountain, I’d have an avalanche. Sensation tumbles down my body, and I writhe uncontrollably. It feels as though my mind is spinning, flipping end over end, not stopping, just building to an even wilder and more uncontrollable force.
And then it hits.
I slam into a wall. And then I’m just floating through the sky, weightless.
I feel my guys’ fingers slowly retreat from my body, and Akor pulls me down onto his lap, still sans panties, but I’m not with it enough to focus on the real world yet. I stay in my heady little bubble a while longer.
When I come out of my daze, I see three very smug demons smiling back at me.
“Blew your mind, didn’t we?” Raz asks, taking credit, though he hardly touched me.
I can’t even deny it.
“Did you know your hair was floating when you came?” Akor whispers from behind me. “It lifted up and floated all around you.”
I blink, confused, but the rest of the guys nod that it’s true.
“Well, that’s…different,” I say, not really sure what to think.
“It was magical,” Akor replies.
“I think we need a new rule. We need spare clothes for our baby girl at all times,” Raz says with a grin as he turns forward in his seat. He smiles at me in the rearview mirror. “I have a feeling little sessions like this are going to happen a lot.”
Yes they are, Kastros signs.
I can’t help but let out a nervous giggle. Why? I don’t know. Because I’m an awkward noodle even after sexy stuff. Gah, I need a rewind button for my life. Just to erase little moments like that which bring every eye back to me.
I clear my throat awkwardly and am completely and utterly relieved when my cellphone rings. “Oh look, it’s Zolroth.” I swipe to answer. “Hello?”
“Katrina, get home now.” Zolroth’s dark tone immediately erases any lightheartedness left from my orgasm. “Your parents are here, and they’re trying to take Adam.”

Katrina
Fear isan alligator that snaps its jaw around my leg and is currently spinning me underwater. I feel like I’m about to drown.
Raz has just started the van up again, but he screeches to a halt when I drop the phone and Akor asks, “What’s wrong, Katty?”
Kastros whips around in his seat, and all I can do is cling to him with my eyes because my body is sinking slowly into a daze. That terrible white fog from after my accident threatens the corners of my vision, and what I feel now is even worse than anything I felt when we were facing off against the angels.
Adam.
Akor snatches up the phone and screams at it. “You broke my Katrina, I’ll break—”
Van snags the phone from Akor’s hand before my pain demon can hurl it away. He brings the device to his ear. “Hello?…Yeah. On our way.” Van swipes the phone to end the call and then shoves it in his pocket. His brown eyes are serious as he says, “We need to fly back. Trina’s parents have Adam.”
Van shrugs off his shirt and tosses it at me. “Put this on,” he tells me before he opens the van door and leaps out onto the dirt. Kastros and Akor follow. Raz gets out with a growl that would make me shiver if I thought it was directed at me, but it’s not. It’s for them. My parents. The malignant assholes who weren’t there my entire life and now won’t frickin’ disappear.
I glance down to see my hands are shaking. I try to take off my ruined blouse and put on Van’s shirt, I really do. But coordination’s a bitch when you’re on the cusp of a panic attack and your body feels burning hot one second and your heart is racing out of control.
I end up just staring at the shirt in my shaking hands until Raz climbs into the van. He slams the door shut, ignoring Akor’s protest of, “Hey!”
Raz scoots closer and wraps his arm around me. He spreads his hand, and a cape appears on his shoulders. A red cape. Just like in our dreams. My eyes fixate on it before they blur with tears.
