With the twinkle of the lanterns disappearing into the heavens, the crowd began to filter back into the barn, and the DJ had the dance music thumping once again.
Piper grabbed Jax’s hand. “C’mon, husband, let’s go dance some more!”
As Jax’s wife swept him away, he gave Niko a knowing look.
Once they were alone, Paulina and Niko vented their embarrassment with an explosion of laughter.
“Oh my God! We are so busted!” she said. “Why in the world did you tell Jax we were up until the sun came up?!”
“Ihadto! Hathaway saw me parking at the hotel this morning!”
“Oh, man. That sucks.” She slapped her forehead. “Piper totally knows. I’m gonna get an earful later.”
Niko nodded. “Yup. Jax is gonna kill me, too.”
“Really?” she asked with a shrug. “He doesn’t seem too mad about it.”
“Not on his wedding day, no. But trust me, he’ll get me back in practice.” Niko whimpered as he imagined the crushing pain of Jax’s hips stapling him to the boards.
“So what do we do now?” she asked.
“Fuck it, I guess.” Niko nodded towards the barn. “You want to dance?”
“I’d love to.”
He put his arm around her shoulder and walked with her. “So, what did you wish for?”
“Sasha!” She playfully elbowed him. “It won’t come true if I tell you.”

Paulina
With all the points of ceremony and surprises trulyout of the way, the party couldreallybegin. The barn became a thumping club, booze flowing, and the crowd flocked to the dance floor, where wild antics dominated. Sensing it was time, the older folk and the families with young children hopped on one of the party buses, which ran every half-hour from the farm back to the hotel.
Since everyoneelsewas drinking, Paulina felt like she and Sasha were part of a secret sober club—they could act just as goofy and ridiculous as everyone else and blend in. But unlike them, they still had their wits and would wake up tomorrow with the ability to remember everything.
By midnight, everyone else was wasted, and the dance floor was a sweltering jungle of grinding bodies. The haze of drunkenness and suggestive dancing also gave Paulina and Sasha cover to get closer to each other—bumping and shaking her booty on him, just like everyone else—and no one would suspect a thing.
But even if someone did suspect something, eh, so what? Piper basically already knew—she just wanted to maintain an air of ignorance. As long as they weren’tobviousabout it, Piper wouldn’t care, and neither would anyone else.
Then again, Paulina wasn’t sure how much obvious they could get. She and Sasha danced closer and closer until the spot between her thighs was damp with excitement. The dancing was hot, a fun tease, and suggestive of somethingelsethey both clearly had on their minds.
Paulina swung her hips to the beat, shaking her bottom just in front of Sasha’s crotch. When he couldn’t take the tease anymore, he grabbed her by the hips and pulled her against his cock—he was rock-hard and raging in his trousers.
“I want to get you out of here so bad,” he growled in her ear.
She leaned back and whispered in his. “I can tell.” She pumped her ass on his erection, daring him to do something about it—
And then, just like that, he did. He grabbed her by the hand and pulled her, carving a path through the dance floor.
“Where are we going?” she giggled as he whisked her out of the barn.
“Your place,” he said firmly.
They held hands and hurried through the darkness together. She checked over her shoulder to make sure no one was tracking them—the coast was clear.
Sasha couldn’t even wait to make it to Paulina’s yurt. Once he pulled her into the tree line that divided Jax and Piper’s property from their childhood home, he pushed her up against a tree and stole her mouth. She’d thought his kisses last night were great, but afterhoursof having to act civilized—as if they didn’t want to rip each other’s clothes off and fuck—his juicy lips melted against hers with the simmering heat of an inferno. She’d never experienced anything like it. He wanted her more than any man ever had.
