“It’ll come to us once we meet him,” I said.

Conversation halted when we heard the sound of the bedroom door open down the hall. Our heads turned towards the hall, waiting for Katerina’s entrance. With each boldclackof her heels, I grew more anxious to see my love.

Then I saw her and my heart stopped beating.

She walked into the room, her springy curls bouncing with each purposeful step. A racy halter dress contoured to her tight curves, draping seductively from her soft, bouncing breasts. The dress swished with a slinky weight when she moved, glimmering in the light with a metallic sheen.

“HolySHIT!” Austen yelled.

“Va vavoom!” Emma sang. “Hellooo, legs!”

Hello legs? More like, hello legs and breasts and booty and the total package, too.Jesus,my girlfriend was a fuckin’ babe. I still couldn’t believe she was actually mine.

Emma elbowed me. “What do you think, Reavo?”

What did I think? I didn’t know; my mind had turned to mush. I couldn’t speak, either; my throat had swelled shut. All I could do was helplessly stare. The more I stared, the more I liked it. I couldn’t take my eyes off her—or the mouthwatering thigh-slit that ran all the way up to her hip.

“He’s too tongue-tied to speak,” Austen said. “So I’ll say it for him. Reavo, your girlfriend issmokin’hot.”

“Damn right,” I finally grumbled, my voice husky and dry.

I jumped off the couch and possessively wrapped my arms around Katerina and stole her lips. “You’re so goddamn beautiful,” I whispered in her ear, raking the tips of my fingers across her bare back. “I can’t wait to get this dress off you.”

“Behave yourself, mister, we’ve got company,” she whispered back, a devious glint in her eye.

She knew she was going to drive me crazy all night long, didn’t she?

After me, the girls jumped up to greet Katerina with a hug.

“You look Russian as hell right now, girl,” Emma said.

“Is it too much?” Katerina asked, her brow furrowing with temporary worry.

“No.Godno,” Emma said. “You look incredible. And look at your man. You’ve left him speechless.”

Katerina locked eyes with me and we both smiled at each other.

“Which reminds me,” Emma said, running back to the couch for her shopping bag. “I brought you a gift! It’s from Eva and the rest of the girls.”

“Oh, I think I already know what it is,” Katerina said, giggling. She dug through the brightly colored tissue paper. She got a glimpse of the gift and threw her head back, squealing with glee.

“What is it?” I asked.

She pulled a jean jacket out of the bag. I wasn’t sure why she was so excited to get a jean jacket, but she was eager to put it on and model it for us. When she turned around and showed us the back, I suddenly understood. My name and number were sewn on the back—REAVES 8. Seeing her wear my name triggered a primal rush inside me.

She. Is. Mine.

Hath and Dane slapped at my back and pounded me on the shoulder.

“How do you like that, bud?” Dane asked.

“I love it.”

“I love it, too,” Katerina said. “Thanks, you guys.”

“Okay, but now you have to take it off,” Austen said, helping her take the jacket off. “Your dress looks way too incredible to cover up. I’m sure Reavo agrees with me. Right, Reavo?”

“Right.”
