“It’s just a dress!”

He stands and stalks towards me, easily closing the distance between us. When he reaches me, he wraps hisarms around my waist and pulls me flush against his body. “That dress is hiding my new favorite meal, Butterfly. All day I’m going to be thinking about how easy it would be to lift it up, pull your panties to the side, and feast on you.”

My goodness.I thought dirty talk was only for the bedroom. Liam certainly never said such sexual things inorout of the bedroom.

“What color are they?” he asks.

“What?” I blink up at him.

“What color are the panties you’re wearing?” He slides his hands down my back to grab my ass in a bruising grip.

I must not answer him fast enough because quick as a whip, he has my dress hiked up around my waist and is running his thumb along the lace of my cheeky panties.

“Black,” I whisper.

“Hmmm. I think the red is my favorite so far. I can’t wait to see the rest.” He gently rights my dress. “Let’s go, Butterfly. We don’t want to be late.” He plants a swift kiss on my lips and drags me to the door, barely pausing to let me get my shoes on and grab my purse.

On the drive there he gives me a brief rundown of his family tree. Olivia is the oldest and is married to Asha.Alice is next, and I already met her and Cooper. Then it’s Morgan and his twin sister, Sarah. She is married to Justin, who Morgan says looks like a Republican hillbilly but is actually one of the nicest, most accepting people ever. The youngest Fowler and only other boy, Kendall, is the only one of his siblings that doesn’t live in Utah. He lives in Pennsylvania and plays for a Rugby team.

“And no one else has kids except for me. Unless Kendall’s knocked someone up and doesn’t know about it, which isn’t out of the realm of possibilities.”

“Bit of a player?” I ask.

“He’s hot, and he knows it. Bit of a commitment-phobe. He and Emma are very similar, I would say.”

“Ah. So he’s had his heart broken and doesn't want to try again yet.” I get that. But I’m glad I’m moving past it and taking a chance with Morgan.

“Bingo. Alright, Butterfly.” He pulls to a stop in front of a lovely red brick ranch house. “Are you ready to meet the Fowler crew?”

“As ready as I’ll ever be.”

Morgan opens my door and walks us to the house, not bothering to knock before he steps inside. A bunch of different voices chatter when we walk in, but they all come to a halt when the door shuts.

We walk through the entryway and down the hall to the kitchen where multiple smiling faces greet me.

“Hannah! Aunt Liv said you were coming. I’m so excited to see you!” Aly bounces to me and wraps me in a hug.

“Hey, Aly! I’m excited to see you, too.” I feel like I’m about to cry, which would be extremely embarrassing.

“Oh! Hannah, it’s so good to meet you!” A woman with short brown hair streaked with gray and the same eyes as Morgan wraps me in a hug as soon as Aly steps back.

“Mom, you didn’t even introduce yourself,” Morgan teases.

“Oh, where are my manners? I’m Iris, Morgan’s mom, but you can call me Gigi or mom, if you’d like.”

“Mom,” Morgan groans.

“It’s lovely to meet you, Iris.” I don’t remember the last time my own mother gave me such a warm embrace, and getting one from someone who so clearly loves her kids makes me a little misty-eyed.

Iris loops her arm through mine and walks me around the room introducing me to everyone.

Morgan’s dad, Axel, istall.Taller than Morgan, if only by an inch, and he towers over Iris, who’s at least two inches shorter than my five-foot-seven. I would find it an odd pairing if they weren’t so in love.

I’m pleasantly surprised to see that all of Morgan’s sisters are plus size, and so is Olivia’s wife. It’s nice to not feel insecure about existing in my body.

When Iris stops us to meet Olivia and Asha, Olivia gasps. “I know that necklace. Imadethat necklace!”

I instinctively touch the butterfly around my neck. “It’s gorgeous, I wear it every day,” I say shyly.
