The blond Fae picks up the pace, the pinch of his face mesmerizing.

“I’ll burn you both.” I squeeze him tighter as I stroke Cole’s cock. Both men hiss at the friction.

Flynn loses control, his release fast and messy. Sweat glistens on his tanned skin as he lays down beside me.

Cole flips me over his friend’s chest. “My turn.”

I collide with Flynn, overwhelmed, but Cole pulls on my hips with an impatient click of the tongue. Before I can fully brace myself for it, my prince enters me from behind, hard and deep. My knuckles whiten, contrasting with the black sheets. Flynn holds me steady. With a dangerous wink, he licks my left breast and traces the aureole with his tongue before sucking it inside his mouth.

Fire melts my insides, and I sink my nails inside Flynn’s neck. Liquid heat leaks out of me as my body rushes to meet Cole’s merciless thrusts. My lips part in surprise, but he gives me no time to recover between orgasms, his hands hard on my hips.

My husband molds me to his whims, exploring the deepest and most devious angles. I shatter in my lovers’ arms, only to be glued back together by their gentle hands.

Soft, languid kisses on my shoulder. A wicked tongue in my belly button.

The legends might have warned me against the blistering Fae touch, but they never revealed the truth. I forget to scream, forget to breathe, ridden to such a blinding oblivion that everything but their scorching touch fades away. They exchange quick whispers and instructions, each of them dirtier than the last.

Tucked between my two Fae lovers, nestled in their heat and love, eternal servitude doesn’t sound so bad at all.

IF YOU DARE

“Stay.” Cole tugs gently on my arm.

I dig my heels into the stones of the hall of mirrors and stare at our entwined fingers. The event horizons of the secret passageways are already active, and the main channel shines in the Fae morning sun. Last night was…no word is strong enough to describe it, and I’ll remember my first Fae Solstice for the rest of my life, but the time has come for me to return to Dark Falls. Reality awaits, along with scary, powerful monsters—politicians or otherwise.

A sad smile glazes my lips. “I made a deal.”

“A human deal. There’s nothing binding about it. Stay.” His breath fizzes across my chest.

A white undershirt sticks to his skin, and the familiarity of the Dark Falls uniform twists my heart.

I play with the hem of my plaid skirt and bite my bottom lip. It’s not like I can leave Dad, Lydia—even Allie—to the hollows. “Monsters are leaking into the realm. I have to help.”

“Monsters leak into my realm every day. Helpme.” The ominous tremble of his voice gives me pause.

I search his gaze. “I’ll do both.”

“Darkwood gave up too easily. There’s a catch.”

“I’ll be careful. Once your name is cleared, you can come back, and we’ll finish the quarter together.” I try to sound cheerful, but, hearing the words aloud, the possibility sounds at best like wishful thinking…

Cole scratches the back of his neck, his head tilted to the side. “Dark Falls won’t take me back, whatever Darkwood promised you. It doesn’t make sense for me to return.”

“I know.” I unfold his fingers and free myself. This marriage wasn’t supposed to feel so real, and I can’t help but fear it’s coming to an end.

I rap my hands on my thighs, trying to summon the courage to actually step through the portal. “Alright, I’m ready. I just need the horn.” My forehead creases as I realize Cole came empty handed. “You were supposed to get it from your vault. Where is it?”

He glares at the space between us. “I don’t have it.”

Cole wasn’t on board with this plan, but I never thought he’d double-cross me. Never. Not after everything.

My chest contracts, and I force a stiff breath down my lungs. “Don’t mess with me. Where is it? Did Erron take it?”

“The horn is gone,” he says quietly, but with enough confidence to riddle me with adrenaline.
