“I’m sorry, Jameson. I had limited control,” he says, and I go to lunge at him, but see Spade out of the corner of my eye, pacing on the phone not paying attention as one of Ryder’s men comes stomping into the Mill, talking to Jade, getting in her face. Jumping out of the ring, Dario yells from behind me, but I see nothing but her and this biker prick all up in her shit.
As I walk over, Kane appears on the stairs. “Hey, Lad, think fast,” he says, tossing me a knife. I catch it and twirl it around my hand. The weight of it sends my adrenaline pumping the closer I get to them. Jade sees me in her peripherals and her eyes widen as I come up behind the asshole and press the blade to his neck.
“Watch your fucking mouth when you’re speaking to my wife!” I spit, pressing the knife harder against his pulsating vein.
“And who the fuck are you?” he spits, and Jade slowly steps into his space, taking a knife of her own and running it down his chest.
“It doesn’t matter who he is. You came into my mill barking orders at me like you can pull rank in here,” she spits, and I laugh, looking down at his patch. He’s the president of the Devils Incarnates, but not of the New York chapter, that's for sure.
“I would think twice about your next move, Doll. You can’t just kill a President and get away with it.” He chuckles, and I press the blade a little deeper, making sure it bites into his meaty flesh. She steps away, bringing the blade to her lips as Dario and Kane walk over to us, watching the show.
“I guess word hasn’t spread yet of who I am. Maybe we should send a message? What do you think, Jamie?” she asks, tilting her head.Ahh, there’s my blood queen. Someone wants to play this afternoon.She looks radiant when she’s starved for a kill. The lust that blows her orbs has my dick hardening, making me want to kill this man with her just so I can coat her in his blood and fuck her tight cunt.
“Kitten, must you toy with your food?” Dario smirks as Kane laughs.
“Princess, you already know that answer. How I love seeing you painted red,” I groan. She nods with a sinister smile.
“My dick shouldn’t be hard but this is hot!” Kane adds, and I growl at him. He holds his hands up in surrender, backing away.
“Make this quick. I’d like to take her upstairs in the near future. We still have work to do,” Dario whispers then walks away. Jade steps closer as she brings the knife right up to his Adam's apple. He swallows thickly, standing completely still as his eyes widen at her.
“No one crosses the Kings and their IRA Queen. Fuil mo chuid fola,” she whispers in her native tongue, and then sinks her knife into his throat as I slice his beating vein. Warm crimson sprays against our skin as I whisper, ‘Blood of my blood,’ letting him drop to his knees, choking on air.
“Can the two of you ever just threaten a person without killing them?” Dario asks, and I laugh.
“You weren’t complaining two minutes ago. Jesus, you really have been gone for far too long, Brother,” I tell him, and he shakes his head. I grab him into my arms and kiss his cheek. “I’m glad you’re back. But I’m still pissed,” I warn, and he nods in understanding. It’s going to take some time to get back to the place we once were, but we will get there. We have to, for the sake of our kids and for Jade. This is it for us.
“Hey guys. I've gotta go. What the fuck did you two do?” Spade asks, walking towards us while staring at me and Jade, then looks to Dario and Kane for help but they just shake their heads. “I walk away for five minutes and blood is spilled. I can’t leave the two of you alone for a second.” He paces which has my brow lifting with concern.
“Spade, what's wrong?” I ask with concern laced in my tone, and he shakes his head.
“Everything but Asher is in trouble. I’ll be back when I can,” he says in a panicked tone. Jade walks right up to him, cupping his face
“What happened?” she asks, and he takes a deep breath.
“Someone attacked Asher's girlfriends on campus, and his tires were slashed while he was at a swim meet across town. I’m sending the Doc there while I go help Asher grab the guy who is responsible for it. I’ll keep you updated,” he says, and she nods, kissing him.
“Call if you need anything,” she tells him, and he nods again, leaving the mill. Grabbing her by the waist, I spin her in my arms and she giggles. Dario and Kane get to work on cleaning up the mess, and I pull Jade away to the stairs.
“When do I get to put a baby in you?” I ask as I sit on the step, pulling her between my legs. She places her hands on my sweaty shoulders and rolls her eyes.
“Ummm, not anytime soon,” she answers, causing me to growl.
“How about now?” I say, looking up at her, but she shakes her head.
“I’m on birth control,” she informs me, and my head spins.
“The fuck? Who said you could do that? What the fuck?” I yell, and she takes a step back.
“Excuse me!” she spits as her gorgeous eyes narrow at me. “My body, my fucking choice. I don't want any more babies rightnow. When I’m ready, we will discuss it!” she informs me, and I laugh.
“Well, I know what I’m doing tonight.” I smile sinisterly.
“And what is that?” she asks, folding her arms over her chest.
“Destroying all of your birth control pills after I destroy your uterus!” I say with so much confidence her mouth drops to the ground.
“The fuck you are!” she huffs, and I laugh.
