“I love you too, Priest,” I say, and he pulls away.

“Oh, I forgot to tell you, today after school I was waiting for Jaxon and the others and a m–”

“Spade, let's roll!” Dario yells, and I look at Priest.

“We’ll finish this later, I gotta go,” I say, and he nods, turning and leaving the room.

Exiting the kitchen, I step into the garage and get in the back of the G-Wagon next to Jay and Ryder.

“Alright, let’s go!” I say, tapping the back of Jade’s head rest as Ryder and Jay pass me another holster filled with weapons.

“Do we think Easton missing and Dalton reappearing is connected?” I ask, and Jay nods.

“I’ve been trying to track him. He’s been hiding in plain sight. Something else is keeping him here and I don’t know what it is,” he answers, and I take a deep breath.

“As we all know, I keep eyes on Jocelyn–April at all times. She’s been working nights at the diner across town and going through the police academy during the day. Apparently, she’s hell bent on finding Monty’s killer.” She snorts. “And Jaxon was telling Hazel that Kingston told him Easton Daniels came to school all beat up and overheard the conversation of “trainings” and not to worry about it,” she says.

“Is that what you guys were arguing about?” I ask, and she clicks her tongue.

“Yep, he wanted to come help and I told him absolutely not. He’s not built for this life. We tried as much as we could to keep them all away from this part of our life but it's starting to bleed through as they get older,” she states, and she’s right. I’m not sure how much longer we can keep them away.

“Now, hear me out, Kitten. What if we did train them—and not like how our fathers trained us. We do it the right way?” he suggests, and she growls.

“I think Dario is right,” Jay adds and she whips her head around to look at him. “Don’t look at me like that, you see it in Hazel’s eyes, Prince loves to play with his deck of cards, slicing them into shit. Preston..” he trails off, and I sigh. They have a point but it’s getting Jade on board that’s the problem.

“I hate you all for being right, I really fucking do,” she huffs, and I grin. “If this is what they want then they will do it our way. I wanted to wait until they were older, but if you all feel its time, then fuck it!” she says.

“Holy shit, did our queen just agree with us? Did hell freeze over?” I taunt, and she turns her whole body to narrow her eyes at my mocking. So I blow her a kiss and she whips back around shaking her head. “So, where are we going? Do we know his location?” I ask.

“My guess is the same place we did our training. If he’s willingly training then that means my father has or is brainwashing him,” Jay says, and my eyes widen.

“It’s been years since we’ve been there,” I whisper, hating the idea of stepping into that place.

“I could be wrong but something in my gut is telling me that’s exactly where he is.” Jay says as Jade brings up her tablet with a turquoise dot blinking.

“He’s been to the warehouse with Kingston, Bentley, and Antonio. So I had Gio put a tracker on his car,” she smirks, and I shake my head.

“You are just as bad as them,” Ryder adds, and I laugh. Jay takes the tablet from her hand and widens the area to get a better look at the location then passes it to me. My eyes widen when I see the address.

“Fuck!” I say and my brothers grunt. Ryder has been told the stories of that time in our lives but he’s about to get a front row seat of it all.

“We’re almost there,” Ri says, and I take a deep breath as I try to center myself and not panic walking back in there. Jay reaches over Ryder and places his hand on top of mine. My eyes snap to his and he nods.

“Remember they are dead. You are safe. We got you,” he assures me, and I let the breath go. We turn down the dirt road that connects to the back of Ri’s house which also connects to Amelia’s house. It’s been so fucking long since I thought about her. I really should go to the cemetery and bring her flowers and see Haven too. Pulling into the woods, Ri turns the truck off and we all climb out. I take off my racing jacket and clip the holster around my waist. We all make sure we have everything and draw our weapons as we walk down the road towards the house. Seeing Easton’s car has my heart dropping and I’m sure Jade’s is beating a mile a minute. She turns her tablet on and scans the house to see how many people are inside. Watching it light up as I walk behind her I see there are seven people there. Two on the porch, two in the back and three inside.

“They have him tied to something. His body temperature is reading really fucking hot you guys,” she whispers, and I know exactly what they are doing to him. I look over at Jay who swallows thickly, knowing that poor boy is getting the same treatment he did.Electrocution.

“Let’s split up,” Ry suggests, and I nod.

“Spade, you’re with me, Babyboy,” she says, and I smile, walking beside her.

“I got the back,” Ri states, dipping into the woods on the left while Ry goes to the right and Jay stays with us.

“Silencers?” I ask and he nods as we all take them out, and screw them onto our guns.

We slowly approach and weave in and out of the cars parked by the front porch, one guy lights a cigarette and Jay takes his shot, hitting him right between the eyes and he drops as Jade takes hers, hitting her mark sitting in the rocking chair. We quietly step up the porch and look through the windows. My eyes widen when I see Easton, trembling against the table while water is poured over his head. My vision darkens and I kick in the door, lifting my gun and shooting one guy in the knee as Jade shoots the other. Jay walks over to the guy I shot and sinks his knife into his face, and I immediately go for Easton. I shut off the machine pouring the water and unstrap his limbs. My eyes snap to Jade’s and she smiles at me before leaving out the back door. Easton’s body is riddled with bruises, slice marks from lashings and knife wounds. I take the rag from his mouth and remove the soaked cloth from his eyes. He looks at me and swings but I jump back, raising my hands.

“You’re okay. You’re safe. We are here to help,” I tell him as his chest heaves.
