I’m catching my breath, his ass clenching around me when I realise he’s rutting against me, chasing his pleasure.
“Please, Remi, I need… I need…”
Oh fuck. He held on because I told him he had to.
“Good fucking boy, Holden. Come for me, baby.”
He lets out a whine-like whimper, his body shaking. His legs buckle and I wrap my arms around him to stop him from falling.
Holden spins in my hold and our lips collide in a hungry kiss that turns languid and soft until our lips are brushing in open mouth kisses.
“Do you want to spend the day in bed? Order take out and watch films?” I suggest.
“Yeah,” he breathes on a sigh.
Chapter 27
Holden
Our day in bed starts off well. We’ve ordered takeout, and there’s a horror film from the nineties on the television.
When there’s a noise downstairs, Remi sits up in bed and pauses the film.
“Is someone here?” I ask, following Remington as he stands and heads for the door.
“There shouldn’t be. Nadine and Rupert are on honeymoon and my parents won’t be back for another few weeks.”
There’s another sound, like something hitting the floor, and Remi rushes out of the room, me hot on his heels.
“Jesus, Finn!” he exclaims when he reaches the bottom of the stairs and finds Finn in the entrance hall, next to our bags. “You scared the shit out of me.”
Finn holds up a key, a sheepish look taking over his face.
“Sorry! Used my key. I tried your phone, and you never answered, so figured I’d come in and surprise you.”
Remington pulls Finn into a hug, patting him on the back.
“It’s good to see you, bro,” Remi says.
Finn’s eyes meet mine over Remington’s shoulder and he gives me a twisted half smile.
“You got plans today?” Finn asks, releasing Remi from the hug. Remi turns to look at me and then back at his friend. I brace myself for his answer. For him to say no and pick hanging out with Finn over the day we had planned.
“We do,” he says, shooting a salacious grin my way.
Finn’s expression falls, his eyes hard and cold.
“Yeah. Okay, cool.”
I don’t like the guy. Not at all. But there is a part of me that feels really fucking sorry for him. I know I wouldn’t like it if someone swooped in and stole Theo from me.
“What about tomorrow?” Finn asks. “I was planning to throw a party at my place, since my dad is away.”
Remi hesitates, twisting his hands together in front of him, and I wonder if it’s the realisation that his two separate worlds are so close to colliding now that we’re no longer in our summer bubble.
He doesn’t look at me before he answers, nodding his head at Finn.
“Yeah, that’ll be great.”
