I reached down, threading my fingers in his pink hair as the pleasure he sent through me made me lose control. I thrusted my hips, and he made a noise that vibrated my entire core. That was all it took, and I peaked hard. Toe curling, back arching, mind numbing pleasure waved through me.

A slow groan left my lips. I felt his warm seed splash against my back.

He growled, but it was different from the other beasts here, more human. “Your scent. Damn it, woman.”

His hands gripped my hips and lifted me to move me over his hips. I looked down to find him still completely erect. “You’re still hard?”

“You are still horny.” His finger tapped his nose, but his eyes stayed glued to my core. “Take what you want from me, Enchantress. I’ll go as long as you have the desire to.”

I slowly lowered down on him. The stretch felt amazing. The swirled texture added an extra sensation I couldn’t even explain. The bumps added umph to the friction. He stayed still, letting me take control so I could move how I wanted with how my body was comfortable.

“You are so gorgeous like this,” he told me as his fingers played with my clit. My thighs quivered.

My thrusts sped up. My end loomed close on the horizon, and I was ready to meet it. Pretty colors danced through my mind, similar to a mushroom trip. I cried out my pleasure and felt him painting my insides. I sobbed when the intensity reached almost painful levels and burst through me like a typhoon. He groaned and shudders wracked his body.

We both caught our breaths, and I flopped off him. He snuggled up to me, resting his face between my breasts. I played with his hair, and I found it to be the softest thing I ever touched. He nuzzled into me, content.

A satisfied rumble vibrated through him, and it lulled me into a deep calm state. His fingers traced invisible shapes on my skin; soothing and stirring me up at the same time. An indeterminate amount of time passed, and I felt him growing again. I moaned, rolling back on top of him.

“That is it. Use me, paramour.” He groaned, squeezing my thighs.

I did until I passed out in his arms. I woke up as the sun rose above the horizon. The room looked foreign as my eyes darted around the room. A loud snort made me jerk my eyes to Ziam and the night before came back to me.

His face scrunched and his eyes popped open. Quick eyes glanced around the room and then over me. “What is wrong?”

“I woke up confused.”

His arms tightened around me, kissing my temple. I played with his hair until he sighed in relief. He tickled my nose with his, letting me know my scent went back to normal. “There we go. That’s better.”

“I forgot there were no wards.” I realized.

“There are my wards.”

I eyed the weak warding on the walls and felt my face twist up. “I could fix them for you.”

He laughed despite my insult. “If that would make you more comfortable, you may do whatever you please to my wards. I only learned enough to get by. I’m better at curses.”

“I suck at curses.” I confessed.

“Then we balance each other wonderfully, don’t we?”

As I scratched his scalp, he sighed, melting into my touch. Closing his eyes like he spent years starved for affection. I was more than willing to give it to him as I watched the sun come up from the window.

Mirneax’s ray beamed onto me as soon as she rose into the window. I could see her smiling at me on her way up. But the higher up she rose, the more I felt like I overstayed my welcome.

We didn’t know each other that well. For all I knew, he was ready for me to dash. My eyes went to him. His body rested limp on the mattress as he pushed his head against my hand. Perhaps it was time to go. “I should get moving.”

He paused and opened his eyes slowly. A lazy smile pulled on his sweet lips. “One more time?”

“One more.” I agreed without a moment's hesitation.

Chapter 10:

Ziam

The atmosphere buzzed at breakfast. A lot of key warriors were missing from the eating area, including Balthazar. That usually meant something unpleasant. Once I sat down at my usual table, my best friend brought me up to speed on what happened.

“A group of hunters swarmed on a beast community last night.” Sorin, a goblin who had watched my back since the dark ages billions of years ago, told me.
