That same woman broke into a chant. “Margot, Margot, Margot…”
To Margot’s dismay, everyone joined in. “Margot, Margot…”
How could she get out of this one? “Oh, you guys, give me a break.”
They ignored her and kept chanting.
“Okay, fine.” Margot took a slice and raised it up in the air. “You win, everyone.”
With that, she tested the temperature with her tongue. It was cool enough to eat. She took a proper bite, and it was a pizza dreams were made of.
Everyone cheered.
