Okay, that’s good. Hopefully, with the medication I’ve prescribed you, you’ll be able to curb any of the more negative side effects

thank you

Of course, please let me know if you have any questions! I’m just a text or call away

Charlotte sends over the prescription’s details and I see that it was sent to a pharmacy near the Graylock Pack house.

“Quick question,” I say, glancing up at Stone, who’s also scrolling on his phone. “The medication was sent to a pharmacy nearby, could one of you guys help me get it since I’m pretty sure my car was burned in the fire.”

“Of course,” Stone says. “Text me the details and I’ll send it to the guys right now. Killian or Theo can pick it up when they come home from work.”

Stone sets his phone down after he sends over the details.

“We’re gonna get you a car, too. Maybe not yet, since you’re still technically in danger and shouldn’t go anywhere without one of us, but I want you to know that you’re not going to be stuck here with nothing to do.”

“You’re joking, you guys are going to buy me a fucking car?” I blink at him, fighting my automatic response to say fuck no to his offer.

“Reyna, you’re our scent match. You’re it for our pack. We were already planning on helping you and your family settle here on the Northside, but now…”

Now things are different.

None of the guys and I have seriously talked about what being their scent match means, but even as someone who’s violently rejected the idea of being with an alpha pack until I met these guys, I know that it means something.

I slowly sink onto the bed and lay on Stone’s chest.

I swallow any words of protest, or any words that are trying to figure out what their hidden agenda is or what I’ll owe them.

Damn. I can’t believe that in less than a few days, my entire thought process and worldview has started to change.

“We’re not going to keep you cooped up in our pack house, once we make sure you’re safe, I promise,” Stone says, brushing a soft kiss on the top of my head.

“Okay,” I say, softly.

Before I met the Graylock Pack, I would’ve been screaming, crying, and throwing up at the thought of one of the worst Southside crime families being after me. But now, it honestly slips my mind most of the time.

Ever since Milo took charge and got rid of my old phone so I didn’t have to see the shit they were sending me, it’s been like they don’t exist. Or at the very least it’s been like they can’t touch me.

Maybe that’s stupid. I should keep my guard up more.

But I’m not alone anymore.

I think I can actually believe that now.

CHAPTER 35

Reyna

My phone rings and I lift my head from Stone's chest to see who's calling. Theo's name flashes across the screen.

I glance up at Stone, who just shrugs.

"I'm going to pick up, that okay?"

"Go for it, no need to ask me for permission, Wildflower."

I answer the call and put the phone to my ear.

"Hey, Spitfire, how're you doing?" Theo asks.
