Wes squeezed me. “You’re here now.”
Spencer joined us. “Hello everyone. Margie, Jordie, Tish, Wes.” He smiled. “Grace. How is everyone doing?”
Something about the way he said my name sent shivers of delight up my spine.
We all chatted for a few moments, finally Spencer excused himself, but not before his hand grazed mine, sending sparks through me.
Wes pulled me to him. “Let’s go get some of that delicious food. I don’t know about you, but I’m hungry.”
Wes squeezed my hand as his truck pulled into the driveway of the house. “I love this. I get to drive to and from work with you and we get to eat lunch together. Well, if Tish doesn’t monopolize you. I work with one of her packmates.”
“I like her. Margie doesn’t like me.” I sighed. Though most people seemed nice.
“Margie doesn’t like anyone. Especially me when I tell her that they can’t do things to the firewall.” He rolled his eyes and got out of the truck, coming over to the other side to help me out.
We went into the kitchen where Riley was cooking under the direction of Jett and the assistance of Brennan.
Riley grinned, waving around some tongs, my apron with peaches on it over her outfit. “I’m making dinner, fuckers.”
It smelled delightful. “I can’t wait. Should I set the table?”
“Please,” Brennan said. “Wes, pour drinks. We’re just waiting on Evan and Spencer.”
I put my stuff upstairs and changed, then went back down to the dining room to do my assigned task. As I was setting out plates, arms circled my waist, and the smell of lemonade went straight to my pussy.
“Mmmm, I missed you this morning.” Evan nibbled on my ear, heat searing me.
“Me, too.” I leaned into him, rubbing my ass against him. “But we’ll still get a couple of mornings most weeks.” Which made me so happy. I loved that time with him, too.
“Hello.” Spencer leaned in the doorway, in his suit, holding a bottle of champagne.
“Hi.” I went a little giddy inside.
“Oooh, you got the good stuff.” Evan let go of me and went to the hutch and got out champagne flutes.
“But of course.” Spencer gave me the softest of kisses on the lips. “Hi, Darling. Your first day went well?”
“It did.” I rested my head on his chest, putting my arms around him.
“Dinner time, fuckers,” Riley yelled from the kitchen.
A moment later Riley brought out a platter of something fried, gleaming with sauce, sesame seeds, and green onions. “Looks good, right?”
“It does.” Brennan set a bowl of fried rice and a bowl of sauteed vegetables on the table.
“But these, these will be best because I made them. My aunt’s secret recipe.” Jett placed a plate of eggrolls on the table, along with some sauce.
“Oooh.” I practically drooled at the delicious smells.
Spencer poured the champagne and we all sat down.
“A toast to Grace’s first day of work.” Spencer held up his glass.
We toasted and dug into the delicious dinner.
“So good, Riley. You planned the menu?” I asked.
“Fuck yeah. I apparently need to cook more. Jett and Spence know how to make the good dinners. Don’t worry, we’ll work on dessert,” she told me.
