“Will you stop squirming?” Riley elbowed her brother as the three of us sat on the couch in the small jet on our way to Grace and Spencer.

How did we not know Spencer had a jet? Okay, it was the company’s jet and usually used for company business, which was why Wes knew about it. But still…

At least Grace was okay. Shit, it had been a fucking day. If anything happened to her it would destroy the pack. Every single one of us cared for her in our own way. Even Brennan.

And me?

Yeah, I wanted some more alone time with Grace. Even if it was just her riding behind me on my motorcycle.

Though I’d take more movie nights with her and Evan. Also, I hadn’t taken her to karaoke yet.

“Um, sorry.” Evan squeezed his eyes shut, took a deep breath.

He got up from the couch and moved back to one of the rows to sit with Wes.

Wes pulled Evan into his arms. He looked like that guilt monster was on him again. Yeah, Wes needed to get over that. Literally, that was the point of packs.

Also, Spencer and Grace had mated. Good for them. But I wasn’t even sure how they could have just been lying on the beach. I was a beta and when Brennan and I mated we had sex fordays.

Same with when we’d mated Evan.

“Whyareyou so squirmy?” Riley watched as Evan tried and failed to get comfortable in the overstuffed airplane seat next to Wes.

“Spence’s jet has no bedroom.” I grinned at Riley. We’d been trying to watch an action movie with Evan while Wes and Brennan worked.

The couch faced an entertainment center with a pop out TV. Two more seats, which swiveled, were beyond the couch. After that, there was a small galley filled with snacks and a bathroom. Apparently, there was no flight attendant today.

Behind us was an area with rows of seats and tables, which was where Wes and Brennan were working.

“Some of the seats do fold out into beds, as does the couch,” Wes replied.

Evan squeaked, as he buried his face in Wes’ shoulder. “Yeah, I vote for a pack jet with a bedroom or two.”

“Sounds good to me.” I mean, I could get used to this. Also, Brennan hated flying. A pack jet would probably make his business trips easier.

“I don’t get it.” Riley blinked.

“Do you really want to know?” Brennan looked up from his laptop, as he worked on the other side of the aisle from Wes at a fold-down table.

“Grace must be gettingrailed. And he can’t block it out.” I paused the movie, enjoying teasing him just a little. Because there was nothing like trying to arrest someone and then feeling Evan getting busy through the bond.

“You can feel things through mate bonds,” Brennan explained diplomatically. “While you can tamp them down, so others don’t feel them or you don’t feel others, strong emotions leak through, especially if you’re close physically. Many times, it’s a good thing–like sensing when your mate is sad or in danger. But when you’re in a meeting and your mates are, um, not, it can pose a challenge.” He gave me and Evan looks.

Riley started laughing, then stopped. “Do Evan and Grace even have a bond with each other?”

Evan held up two fingers.

“They’re bonded through me, and to each other,” Wes replied, rubbing Evan’s back.

“Omegas can do that?” Riley asked.

“They can bond with each other, yes. It’s just not legally binding like a bond between an omega and alpha,” I replied.

Riley nodded. “Can I bond with someone? Because I want an omega with big tits and hair past her ass.”

“Are we really having this discussion?” Evan moaned.

I was here for this discussion. It was much better than thinking about all the favors I owed Cam and Lexi back at the station for everything we’d done today.
