I laugh again at it.

He would have his throat ripped out.

Blue eyes and blonde hair, along with a kind smile flutters though my mind.

Who is that female?

She feels warm and bright, not like the other one who laughs with a cruel smile.

I shake my head, starting to feel dizzy.

Darius…he hurts people too.

My cheek stings again, and the person in front of me doubles.

Why are there two of them?

“Stupid, useless boy!”

He moves away from me as Axis growls.

A silver butterfly follows him, and I stand on shaky legs, needing to catch it. Just like the other times.

It’s back.

I follow, stumbling as the door comes into view,

Oh. I can’t go there, it never opens. Always locked.

Always shut.

Always secure…

I pause, shaking my head again.

Light peeks through it and I tilt my head as the butterfly goes through the crack.

The door isn’t shut this time.

It didn’t close properly.

I shouldn’t go though, I will be hurt.

Bad, bad, bad things will happen.

That’s what happened last time…I think.

They will take me to that place again that makes me want to scream and rip my own head off.

It hurts down there.

It’s dark down there.

I take a step back to retreat to my bed when that butterfly comes back to me.

It flutters in front of my face, always calling me. Fluttering its wings to entrance me.

I sway toward it, wondering if I catch it, if I can keep it to stop this darkness swallowing me whole.
