“I am,” he reassures me. “And you have me so fucking hard right now.”
I move my hand behind me and squeeze his erection, causing him to groan in my hair. “This is only mine too.”
“Yours,” he says, shifting his hips into my hand more.
“Let’s get some food.” I wiggle out of his arms and enter the gathering while he curses about me not sating his hard dick.
“You will pay for that, little wolf” he grumbles, taking a seat next to me as the others do the same.
The Elites are here, along with my pack and the villagers. Kade sits beside me on one bench, while Josh, Seb, Taylor, Hudson, and Colten take another bench. Anna sits next to Zaide on the bench with more of the Elites resting on it.
When Darius hands me a bowl of stew, I wait for everyone to start eating before I start my own.
I wish the rest of my pack was here.
I look at Darius when he nudges me. “We will go after you have eaten.”
I nod my thanks, leaning against him further.
It is also time to bring them home.

I look upon the mist of Witches Rest, side-eyeing Darius. “Still going to tear it down?”
He grunts. “I would have done it to get to you.”
“Of course you would have.”
“You don’t believe me?” he asks skeptically.
“Oh, I do. I just think your balls would have been boiled before then.”
“You would have been right, child,” Belldame says, emerging from the mist and I run to her. “I saw you not too long ago,” she laughs.
I squeeze her harder. “I know.” She pats my back and then holds her hand out to Anna.
“Come, Granddaughter.” Anna goes to her with a smile, her red hair down today.
We walk with Belldame through the mist as she welcomes us and tells me about my pack.
“They are doing as well as can be expected,” she tells me. “We have healed those who were injured, now all they need is a good rest, and time.”
“Injured?” I question, worry at the forefront of my mind.
Belldame nods. “Yes, child. Though we can only heal so much with our hands, we cannot heal the mind.”
I nod my agreement and continue on, nerves slithering down my spine. I feel Darius at my back like a beacon of strength.
It’s funny because I never wanted him at my back, knowing what a threat he is, now he’s my ever protector, watching over me.
We emerge to a familiar bridge and my breath stalls in my throat.
My pack stands on the other side, watching, waiting.
We don’t waste any time and run to them.
