“Keep your hands to yourself.”
Ares groaned as he sunk his teeth into my shoulder, causing a jolt to pass through my entire body.
Ares grabbed my wrists, placing them over my head as he sunk deeper into me. His body draped over me as he rode me like a fucking champion. My eyes rolled to the back of my head, and my lashes fluttered because I didn’t know what else to say.
The words, my words, are intangible in those moments. Everything in me shakes because I feel my body becomes this weakened thing around Ares.
“Ares…”
His name felt smooth against my tongue, slightly more relaxed than what he was delivering. My body ran hot and cold from not wanting to feel like this but feeling like this. Ares leaned lower, pulling me into a scorching kiss. I fear my lips are burned off and no longer belong to me. When he let go, I licked my lips as if savoring its sweetness. It was odd the way his piercing green eyes stared into mine.
“Don’t fucking look at me like that.” He growled in my face as he nipped at my lips. “Fucking lips.”
He transferred my wrists to one hand while the other trailed down my body. The heat from his hand burned my skin. Desire burned a hot spot in the pit of my belly until his grin doused my heat.
A grin I knew better than to trust as he left his planted hand on my belly while he rose a bit. He picked up speed, knocking both the air and words from forming against my lips.
I really couldn’t continue to sleep with this man. I was going to be in a whole lot of trouble if we continued down this road. I just knew it.

“You need a ride to campus?”
Ares asked me as we were in the elevator on our way down.
“No, thank you. Monica is coming to pick me up. We have somewhere else to go first.”
“Cool.”
That’s all that he said to me. Ares was a mystery to me in a way. After the sex, he walked out of my room and went about his business while I laid back on my bed, trying to catch my breath.
The elevator dinged and stopped in the lobby. Mars was there, sweaty and beautiful. He gave me a smirk, one identical to his twin. So damned identical that for a split second, all I saw was Ares. I blinked and smiled back, trying to adjust my thoughts to who this was.
I’ve never had this problem before when it came to them. It wasn’t hard to separate the two.
“Good morning, sweet Carmi.”
My knees almost buckled. Almost. I caught myself as I backed up while Mars entered the elevator.
This seemed to bring an even bigger grin to his face as he continued until slamming into none other than Ares and stopped me. Ares said nothing, but the feel of his fingers sinking into my hair gave me automatic goosebumps.
He fisted my hair and tugged back, causing a gasp to escape my lips. His eyes were on his brother, and I watched as his eyes left a raging trail as he continued to glare at Mars. Ares opened his mouth to say something, but then he abruptly stopped, first looking at the ground, then letting his gaze drift to my face.
Ares released a low and pleasant hum that warmed my body.
A hand came around my throat, and I knew it wasn’t Ares’s. Mars's lips brushed my ear, raising goose bumps across my skin.
Every hair on my scalp stood to attention, every skin cell tingled, and every neuron fired. My brain fizzled.
“Monica’s waiting outside for you,” Mars stated, and Ares let me go. Mars walked me out of the elevator and hopped back in before Ares could shut it. I stood there staring at the two as the elevator closed, but not before Ares looked away from his brother’s figure and set his eyes on me. His jaw clenched.
Panic, mixed with a deep desire that I can’t describe at the moment, swelled up inside me, threatening to swallow me belly-first. All the while, Ares yawned as if bored with it all.
Chapter7
Ares
“Iknow what you’re trying to do. If you want my attention, look in the mirror. That’s the only chance you’ll ever get of knowing me again, big brother.”
