“Jagger Hanlon.” I moan as he teases my clit. My senses are on overdrive and I feel like I will pass out. I dig my nails into his shoulders, which makes him groan louder.

“One more fucking time.” The level of authority in his voice has my eye twitching as he rubs my clit hard, rough. I want to cum.

“Jagger fucking Hanlon!” I moan out like a crazy person. Just as I’m about to ride the wave, Jagger pulls his hand away and I practically cry. “I can’t take this anymore, Jagger.” I confess.

His left hand wraps around my neck and he places his thumb right under my chin, maneuvering me to look at him. “You will take it, Ainslee. Whatever the fuck I give you, that’s what you’ll fucking take. Am I clear?”

“Yes, Liam.”

Jagger smiles as he leans in, lips so close to each other’s. “Good.” I lean in closing in the short distance and kiss him again. I’ll always want him.

After dinner, Oran and Karessa did their whole bake-off competition. Obviously my best friend was better at it and even if his cake sucked, I would’ve voted for him. I watch as Ainslee cleans up and talks to Mikonos in another language. I can tell that it’s something they don’t want us to know about. Ainslee takes this moment to lock eyes with me, and I cock my brow. She shakes her head and I know she won’t tell me until she’s good and ready. I shake my head at that and put away her camera equipment.

I take it to the bedroom and lounge on the bed, turning the tv on. Some random show is playing and before I know, I’ve dozed off.

The day Jamie died is what my mind conjures up. We were playing ball and Jamie had this crazy idea to play horse but from further away. We shouldn’t have been outside, but our nanny was napping, and it bore us.

Jamie threw the ball and missed. It bounced off the net and I was running to go get it but he beat me to it. Everything happened so fast. The black sports car that was speeding hit Jamie so hard, his little body flew in the air.

“Jamie! Jamie!” I screamed his name, running towards his body.

This time, I looked up at the car and in the driver’s eyes. I knew those eyes, that face. Those cold, lifeless eyes that offer nothing but more pain. Jamie coughed, and I looked down at him. He was in pain. I had tears in my eyes, down my face because even at seven I knew what death looked like.

“I need to go call. I nee—.”

Jamie grabbed my wrist, not letting me go. He shook his head as much as he could. “I’m scared, Liam, stay with me.” Jamie was the first one to call me Liam. Jagger was hard for him to pronounce when we were young so he stuck with Liam.

“Jamie… we need to call the police. An ambulance!” I yelled at my brother.

“I’m scared, Liam, I’m scared.” He held onto me.

I don’t know who called for help, but someone did. Jamie didn’t let go of my wrist even when they sedated him. He only let go when they put him in an induced coma. The second his hold was free of mine, I knew my brother was gone.

“Jagger! Jagger!” Ainslee’s calling my name and I open my eyes.

“What!” I harshly reply.

Ainslee’s brows furrow. “Okay? You were having a nightmare. You okay?” She sweetly asks.

I look at her face and it all hits me at the same time. The face I saw with those eyes. I know who they belong to. Natasha Bishops. Ainslee has traces of her mother like her prominent cheekbones, the big almond-shaped eyes, and other small details. She doesn’t exactly resemble her, but it’s enough for me to get pissed. I snatch my hand out of her hold and softly shove her body off mine.

“I’m fine.” I say, turning my back to her. I shut my eyes and the images of the person who hit my brother is clearer than ever. I open them back up.

“You’re acting weird, Jagger. What’s wrong?” She asks sweetly.

“Nothing. Go back to sleep.” My words come out harsher than I intend.

“Okay? What the fuck? What are you pissed about now? Because I didn’t tell you what me and Mikonos were talking about?”

It’s not even that, but if that’ll have her giving me the space to get her face out of my head in place of her mother’s, then good.

“Just fucking sleep Ainslee.”

She huffs. “If you’re going to be a fucking dick, then I’ll go sleep somewhere else. I’m not sleeping next to someone with an entire attitude.”

I hear as she gets up out of bed and I know for one; she isn’t wearing anything, neither is she getting dressed.
