“I know—try not to worry about it,” I say. “Focus on enjoying your weekend before the wedding craziness ensues. I’m sure she’ll come around.”

She lets out a puff of air. “I hope so.”

When we finally make it up to the top deck, the guys are already sitting around the bar. Tyler looks over and flashes me his usual confident smile.

I approach the bar next to him and order a virgin piña colada.

“Whoa, slow down, tiger,” Tyler says with a laugh. “You really should pace yourself over the course of the next few days.”

“I don’t like alcohol in my piña coladas,” I say flatly. “There’s no good reason to ruin coconut and pineapple.”

“Believe it or not, neither do I,” he says holding up his glass. “I’m starting to think we have a lot more in common than we expected.”

I raise my eyebrows. “I don’t know. My car doesn’t have a name.”

He takes a sip of his drink. “Yes, I’ve been thinking about that. I think it needs a name. It’s so boring to just call it ‘my car.’”

“Nope,” I say adamantly.

“Aww … come on. Live on the edge a little.”

I snort. “So you’re saying that naming my car is living on the edge?”

“Among other things,” he replies, flashing me a wicked smile. “I bet you won’t go Jet Skiing tomorrow.”

I look over to where the girls are chatting with a server at a nearby table.

“Erica and Caroline are in charge of the itinerary,” I say, holding up my hands. “But, for your information, I love Jet Skiing.”

He looks surprised. “Really. I pictured you playing bingo.”

Ugh. Somewhere Parker is laughing and telling me she told me so.

“Well, I enjoy bingo too.”

He looks around and leans in toward me, allowing me to breathe in his scent. Clean, masculine, exactly how I’d expect Tyler to smell.

“So do I, but don’t tell the guys. I’d never hear the end of it.”

“Sure you do,” I say. “Virgin piña coladas and bingo don’t seem like your thing.”

He takes a sip of his drink. “Well, maybe you don’t know me as well as you think.”

“And maybe you don’t know me,” I retort. “Just because I won’t name my car doesn’t mean I can’t be adventurous.”

I’m totally bluffing. While I do like Jet Skiing, I was planning on reading by the pool and visiting the spa. I’d really like to relax a bit and yes—play some bingo, despite Parker’s nagging about it.

“So, does that mean you’ll be joining me on the water tomorrow?”

Him?

“Well, me and the others, of course,” he adds.

“I’ll check with Caroline. After all, I’m here to spend time with her.”

“Sure, although I don’t think she’ll object to you having a few hours of fun.”

“Probably not.”
