“You two have grown,” she said, hugging Kyro next. “You were just teenagers last we saw you.”

“It’s been a while, Barbara, and you look wonderful as ever,” Kyro said, hugging her next.

“You two have inherited Braylon’s charm. That’s for sure.” She looked at Hanna and back at them. “Shame on you two for not telling me you were bringing your mate. She’s breathtaking.” Barbara hugged a shocked Hanna, who smiled and returned the embrace.

Barbara had always been a smart woman. He should have known she’d know Hanna was theirs even before Hanna knew it herself. Kyro realized why his father was sad their mother wasn’t there. The Wolfes were lucky to have Barbara as a matriarch.

“Nice to meet you, Mrs. Wolfe,” Hanna said. “I’m Hanna.”

“Call me Barbara. Everyone does.”

“Okay, Barbara.” Hanna looked at Derek and Kyro. “I’m flattered you’d think so, but I’m not their—

“Got our luggage,” Tristan said, joining them. “Derek, Kyro, good to see you.” They shook the Alpha’s hand. He spotted Hanna then, too. “Good to see you boys have finally found a mate.”

“Why does everyone keep saying that?” Hanna asked.

Kyro smirked. He didn’t tell her it was because she smelled like him and Derek. They’d partially marked her and practically claimed her, although it was incomplete. She was their mate, and she was going to accept that fact soon enough.

“I’m no one’s mate,” Hanna said. “I’m here to show Barbara around. That’s it.”

“Sounds wonderful,” Barbara said. “I hoped to get some shopping in during our visit. With all my girls back home, it’d be nice to have someone here.”

“Good. My car’s in the garage.” Hanna turned to leave, but Derek stopped her.

“We’re coming with you,” Derek said.

Hanna tilted her head. “Say that again.”

“Our men are outside to take Tristan to Dad,” Kyro said. “That means we’re your bodyguards for the day.”

Hanna’s face turned the sexiest shade of red he’d ever seen. He was going to enjoy discovering her moods.

“That sounds like fun,” Barbara said, winking at Kyro and Derek.

Barbara probably knew what Kyro and Derek were up to when it came to Hanna, and if Kyro remembered correctly, she was the queen of matchmaking. All of her children were happily mated. Barbara came at the perfect time.

“Yay,” Hanna said. “Fun.”

Kyro couldn’t help but laugh at Hanna’s annoyance. If he and Derek had anything to say about it, that was going to change by the end of the night.
