Cory is gripping a massive stone dick in their hand like it’s a dagger, aimed right at the gargoyle’s horrified face.
That cock goes right into her mouth, making her choke on it as Cory lands it there in the perfect, goddess-blessed angle to cut off her airway.
“NINE. INCH. NASTAAAAAAY!” Cory yells as they continue to assault the gargoyle with the stone dildo, and somehow, I’m still upside down, watching all this play out from between my legs. That’s something new I’ve done today.
The gargoyle begins to shake, right as Leo yells at everyone to take cover. I dive down right as a small chunk of rock comes hurdling towards my exposed ass, the gargoyle imploding and then exploding. Please, take a minute to visualize that.
The point is the gargoyle is no longer able to gargoyle.
“What the hell was that?” Delaney screeches as she stomps in next, staring at the fucking mess that is now our living room as we all start peeking our heads out from our hiding places.
Cory is breathing heavily as we all cautiously walk towards the epicenter of destruction, eyes wide and still gripping the stone dildo that’s now just floating in the air. I mean, they’re holding it so it’s not reallyfloatingper se, but there’s definitely no gargoyle throat for it to inhabit and violate anymore.
“Okay, okay, I admit defeat, Cory. We did in fact receive the Nine Inch Nasty,” Adam says all contritely as he comes up to scoop Cory off of their knees. “Hot, babe. Death by dick. I like it.”
Blinking out of a kind of stupor, Cory turns their head to Delaney, tossing the stone dick. “This is yours. Too much dick power for me to wield. I am not worthy. Please don’t ever let me do that again.”
Delaney tests the weight of the stone, screwing up her face as she checks it out.
Then she sees all of us and checksusout. “Aww, you guys totally did what I asked you to! This is lovely! Ballseverywhere!”
She does a happy dance as she strips, and I guess we’re not addressing the gargoyle explosion right now.
“Hey, Delaney, can I talk to you for a second?”
She spins to me, a tiny frown painting her perfect fucking lips. “Always. What do you need?”
I step closer to her and sweep her into my arms, pulling her away from the wreckage of gargoyle in our living room.
“I just want to check in with you and see how you’re doing. Make sure you’re not, like, overwhelmed or something. Also, this,” and I carry her to the bedroom as I kiss her, tasting the sweetness from her latte.
“I don’t spend enough time kissing you. Been thinking about this mouth non-stop today.”
And I have. It’s so easy to forget about how much effort it takes to connect with her when she has ten other mates, and sometimes it feels like we all take her for granted a little. “We aren’t doing enough for you. Something’s stressing you out and we haven’t fixed it for you yet. That’s not okay.”
She lets her head fall to the pillow underneath her, doing a marvelous job of keeping her eyes on my face instead of my very exposed body, as the rest of her guys start to trickle in.
Skylar is a bit of an outlier still, he’s been hanging around mostly, but I don’t think he’s sleeping over. See what I mean about things getting left unattended?
August is the next closest body to us, there to smooth her brow with his thumb. “Lay it on us, Delaney. Clearly there’s something that’s pretty big, messing with that beautiful brain of yours.”
To my absolute horror, she starts crying. And I don’t mean I’m horrified by the act, I mean I hate that she’s upset enough to need the outlet of tears. I grab her to me and make sure she’s nice and sandwiched between August and I while someone tucks a blanket over us, and we hold her while little sobs wrack her body.
After a few minutes, she looks around the room, mentally counting all of us, frowning pretty hard at Skylar, whom we all still accidentally call Saladriel at least once a day, when she sees that he’s fully clothed and leaning against the doorframe like he’s not sure he’s allowed in.
“Come join us?”
He gives her a shy smile and steps into the room, as unable to deny her as the rest of us are. When he’s cautiously sitting on the edge of our massive bed, she finally talks. “I feel…torn. You guys know I have issues asking things of you because it never feels fair. Like, you didn’t ask for this chaos to come into your life, and you should all get a say in what happens to us all.”
August kisses the side of her neck, nuzzling into her. “And we’ve told you; this is the only place any of us want to be. This is still brand new for a lot of us, or all of us, but we’re learning how to do it better every day. It’s not an instant happy ever after whenthere are this many people and lives involved. It’s going to be a work in progress for quite a while, even if we know that being fated for you means you’re ours forever. So whatever news you got today, just get it out. Let us help you carry the burden.”
She sits up, playing with some of the threads on the blanket. “I don’t know how familiar you all are with my mom’s story, how she became the voice of the goddess and how all my dads became the council before many of them even graduated from Hemlock…”
Adam, who’s been with her for the longest seems to catch on to what’s happening, looking wary, and it seems that Wil has also, because he’s looking like he just got a brand-new puppy.
“The goddess obviously gave my mom so many marks because she knew how important she’d be to the realm, how she was the strongest candidate to lead it into a new era. She’s been her voice now for over twenty years, and no one could have been a better fit, because the goddess doesn’t give that many marks to just anyone.”
I sit up slowly, feeling like I might spook her if I’m not careful, and grab her hand. “Delaney, what are you telling us?”
