He stepped forward, his shoulders so broad they pushed against the walls of my cell. There was no escaping it. I was at his mercy. Whatever he wanted from me, I couldn’t deny.
I backed up the one step I could until my shoulders were pressed against the far wall. The monster-man lowered his head, stopping only inches from mine, his burning red eyes boring deep into my soul. I breathed heavily and deeply, chest arching up and back slightly, shoving toward him.
“Who are you?” he asked in a soft rumble that washed over me, puckering my skin and lifting tiny hairs on edge all over my body.
“My name is Mila,” I answered robotically, eyes locked on his, hypnotized by the swirling flames at their core. “Who are you?”
“My name is Korr’ok.” He frowned mightily after saying that and shook his head fiercely, pushing me flat against the wall. “But you must call me Lord Rokk.”
“Okay, Lord Rokk. But I already knew that was your name. I askedwhoyou are.”
When he smiled, my knees gave out. I started slumping down the wall toward the floor. Korr’ok’s, a.k.a. Lord Rokk’s, arm clasped my waist.
I hissed, freezing him in place.
“Am I hurting you?”
“No,” I said, trying to stifle the trembling of my arms and the hammering of my heart as it sought to burst through my chest. “Not hurting.”
“Good.” Korr’ok brought me out of the cell. “I don’t need you fainting on me. There are questions that must be answered.”
“That sounds nice,” I replied as he placed me against the wall outside my cell, the cool metal sending a refreshing wave through my body, though it was held at bay by his lingering touch.
It feltreallynice to have one of his giant arms around my waist. Very nice, indeed. So nice that my nipples were standing on edge, easily visible through my tattered clothes. Korr’ok’s eyes flicked down, lingering on my breasts and the parts of them he could see through the tears.
I swallowed, the action forcing a lump out of my throat.
“I have a lot of questions,” I said.
Korr’ok frowned. “You’re a prisoner. You don’t ask questions. Youanswerthem, am I understood?”
A thrill of excitement raced through me as I nodded my obedience. What the fuck was going on with me? Why did Ilikedoing as he said? The man was a monster. He had freakinghorns and red eyes!I shouldn’t want to kneel in front of him and do as he commanded. I was stronger than that.
Wasn’t I?
“Do you ask me the questions before killing me?” I murmured.
“I will not be the one to kill you,” Korr’ok said.
“So, what, just here to interrogate and make fun of me?” Some of my backbone was returning as I learned how to resist the almost unnatural desire to fall to my knees forotherreasons.
“That depends,” Korr’ok growled, grabbing my chin and causing my clit to start throbbing. “Are you worth making fun of?”
“Probably not,” I said dryly, which was the only dry part of me by then. “I have my own place that I don’t have to share with roommates. In this market, how can you make fun of that?”
Korr’ok glanced past me at the tiny solitary cell, raising an eyebrow as if to question the validity of my statement.
“The rent is cheap?” I added helplessly.
There was no further reaction. Lame.
“What do you want with me?” I asked, looking up to lock eyes with him once more.
There was a long moment of nothing as he stared back. I thought I saw his body twitch once or twice, but I must have imagined it. The silence continued, and I grew tired of the standoff between us.
That vanished as Korr’ok leaned in closer and pressed his lips to mine. My eyes flew open as he pressed me against the wall and forced his tongue into my mouth. Hands gripped my waist and lifted me from the floor.
It felt so fuckinggood, the heat of his body, the strength in his arms easily moving me how he wanted. I was his to command, and my body exploded with its heat. My clit throbbed, eager for his touch. I squirmed in his grip, wishing he could domore, but just as quickly as he was there, he was gone.
