"How old is your girl, and where is she now, Peter?" I asked, taking my phone and sending Andreas a message to meet me when he returned from San Francisco. He was the best lawyer in the city, probably in the country, too, so it was only right to call on him in this matter.
"She is six and living with her grandparents," Peter replied, grimacing. "They don't want me to see her," he added, explaining why he looked like he had swallowed some rotten eggs. "They think I'm dangerous and incapable of taking care of her."
"Are you sure they aren't right?” I inquired, and exactly as expected, he took it as an attack. But with everything he did in the past thirty years, who could blame me for asking? He was the opposite of a responsible parent, and we were talking about a little child.
"What the fuck are you saying?" he yelled, but his outburst didn't faze me. He was like every man in our family: temperamental, and when he was hurt, it was hard for him to contain his anger.
"I'm simply asking if you have any idea of what it means to be a father," I answered coldly, entwining my fingers on the desk.
"Don't act like you know something about it," he spat, standing up. "This was a mistake." He buttoned his jacket and headed for the door when I made my decision.
I couldn't allow him to leave and do something crazy. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if he did something stupid. My niece had already lost a mother. She needed her father more than ever.
"Peter."
He abruptly turned around, glaring at me through narrowed eyes with his hand on the knob.
"I'll give you a job and an apartment, and Andreas will take care of the custody," I said, slowly rising to my feet. "But I have conditions."
"Anything," he claimed, coming back to me.
"This is your last chance, little brother," I warned, stopping before him. "If you mess things up again, I'll make sure you lose everything, starting with my niece."
"Are you threateningme?" he asked, staring into my eyes, but I didn't see any hostility in them. He either didn't care that I could take his daughter away from him, or he didn't have any choice but to trust me because our dad refused to help him.
Since our father retired, he had sent everyone to me with the note that I was now the head of the family business. If someone wanted something, they had to deal with me.
"No, I'm not, Pete. I'm giving you a clean slate, and I hope you'll use this opportunity for what it’s worth." I patted his shoulder, and he smiled. Finally, I noticed some life behind his sad, clouded eyes.
"I'll do my best."
We shook hands, and he left soon after our deal. I told him to return at 2 p.m. because I planned to take him to the grand opening. I was already thinking about the position he could take, and some ideas popped up. He wasn't stupid, and he graduated from university as one of the best students in his class. With a little bit of luck, he could become a successful businessman.
I was buried in papers for two hours, reading contracts and different reports. While enjoying the silence because no one knew I was in my office, I lifted my eyes from the graph when Electra walked in, softly smiling at me. She brought me green tea with honey and sat on the edge of my desk, giving me a seductive glance.
"Do you need something, Miss Hernandez?" I winked at her, writing the last word on a report. She took off her shoe and put her sexy foot on my knee, moving it leisurely up to my groin.
"I was thinking," she started, wiggling her eyebrows, "that maybe you could use some distraction after the meeting with your," she paused for a second like she didn't know what to call him, "brother.” She bit her lower lip, and I smiled.
"And how would you like to distract me?" I said, watching her remove the other shoe and slightly spread her legs before me. With her tiny toes, she was teasing my already hardcock.
"For starters, I don't have panties on," she whispered, slowly rolling her skirt up her thighs and opening them for me to see how ready she was.
"Aren't you a naughty girl?" I grinned, grabbing her hips and sitting her on my lap. The chair was big enough for her to comfortably sit on me with her legs on my sides, and I had already forgotten about us being at work.
If it keeps going like this, I’ll have to hire someone to do part of my job. Because with this playful kitten around me, I couldn't concentrate at all.

The First Time in the Office
Electra
Iwas preparing myself a cup of coffee in the kitchen when Peter showed up behind me. He almost caused me a heart attack when I turned around and found him watching me from the threshold. I was deep in thought, thinking about all the possible ways out of this. Telling Bastian the truth was the hardest yet the most direct option.
"Are you two together?" Peter asked, piercing me with his brown eyes. I remembered the mischievous glint in them when we first met. Yet the playfulness had disappeared and was replaced by a grave expression. His face reminded me of Frederick.
"Yes," I answered, putting the mug down and crossing my arms over my chest. I wasn't very comfortable with him being only a few feet away from me in the small space of the kitchen.
