The Moon Landing: Was it real or fake?
hum&strum: Interesting topic. I’ve done some reading on this one before, and according to IOP, every claim behind fake moon landing theory has been debunked.

gallagals: so many videos of green screen mess-ups, like this one, but it’s hard to tell what’s real, what’s deep fake, what’s AI. very frustrating.
wannaDB8?: I just have one question… If Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon, who took the photo of his first step? And how were they able to publish photos in newspapers here on Earth the very next day? They had that kind of tech back then?

rosyring: @wannaDB8? the first step photo was actually taken by a camera placed in the stowage area (link). but i totally see your point about the next two questions. i guess the pictures were taken from the live feed (link), but still. how could they distribute photos that quickly in 1969?

volleyqueen: I think the moon landing was totally faked. But why? I don’t get why they would do all that just to lie to us? What’s the point?
chempion: this topic is so much easier for us to talk about and wrap our heads around than the generations before us. they swear by it because they lived through the event, but when you look at all of it objectively, it really doesn’t add up.

born2cre8: There’s a lot out there about moon landing scenes being filmed in the Nevada desert. link link link So hard to wrap my brain around. I totally get what you mean @volleyqueen. If the moon landing was fake and they went through all that to fake it, why? It doesn’t make sense.
