“Well, you’ll need to talk to him. If I know Paul, he won’t bring it up out of some sense of chivalry. He thinks he’s protecting you.”

“Fine, I’ll talk to him about it. Tell me something,” I shifted in my chair, “Is being bitten by your destined mate the only way to be changed?”

“No, any wolfen can force the change with a bite during sex. But don’t get any ideas, Paul would likely kill any wolfen that bit you or touched you like that.”

“I wouldn’t want anyone else like that or their mouth on me anyway. Alright, now that’s out of the way, let’s talk wedding.”

“I want to get married next weekend.”

“WHAT? Are you serious Dylan?”

“Yes… very.”

“Why? The wedding is only four weeks away. Why push it up like that?”

“Well… I need to.”

“Need to? What possible reason could you have to rush your wedding?”

“I’m pregnant.”

“I mean, moving the wedding up that quick will be difficult… wait – did you just say you’re pregnant?”

“Yep – about 6 weeks.”

I jump up, rushing to pull her into a hug, “Does Jensen know?”

“I think he suspects something, but I haven’t told him. I want it to be a surprise present at the reception,” she pulled out of my embrace, “so, do you think you can make it happen?”

‘You bet your ass I can.”

We sat, discussing what we could eliminate to make next weekend happen. As we were mulling over flowers, Haven, Dylan’s uncle walked in.

“Hello ladies, what are you doing?”

“Hey Haven,” Dylan stood, hugging her uncle, “we’re trying to see what we can keep and what we need to get rid of, so we can have the wedding next weekend.”

Haven looked her over, a smile forming on his lips, “You’re pregnant.”

“What? How’d you know?”

“I can sense the baby’s magic – congratulations.”

“What are we congratulating?” Jensen walked in, Paul close behind him.

“Your nuptials next weekend.”

“Wait… next weekend? Dylan, what’s he talking about?”

“Jensen,” Dylan took his hands in hers, “I don’t want to wait another minute. Carly says we can pull it off – is that ok?”

“For you, I’d get married right now.”

I stood watching their exchange, envious of what they had. I was so lost in my daydream I didn’t feel Paul step behind me.

“What are you thinking about?”

His warm breath against my ear, caused the heat to pool between my legs. He inhaled, growling as his grip tightened.
