She tries to move back in shock, not used to a brother grabbing her, but I tighten my hold and she gasps, “Ouch, Viper, you’re hurting me.”
Ignoring my wife’s and her wide eyes, I put two fingers in my mouth and whistle, gaining everyone’s attention, and the music cuts off.
We’re supposed to be spending an hour celebrating me being discharged and surviving that fucking crash, then going to the basement. But now, it’s time to put the bitch in her place before I end the other one.
“Brothers, please, can you all take a look at Lake?” I ask as politely as I can, and some raise brows at me, but do as I ask and look over her form before Tank, noticing a certain leather, shouts, “Fucking yes, she’s his old lady finally!”
Lake’s cheeks heat, which makes me grin as the brothers all cheer and bang before Blade, already seeing what has happened, demands, “Please tell me you did not just try to gain a brother's attention with an old lady, Cherri?”
Everyone quiets, and I lock eyes with Lake, who tilts her head, her eyes softening, seeing I’m borderline pissed right now.
“Worse,” I announce, not breaking eye contact with Lake, and she winces as she side eyes Ivy.
She should be happy that Venom hasn’t managed to wrangle in Raya yet, because that woman will kill her when she finds outwe got married without her there especially with how close they both are.
I lift up my left hand and show everyone my wedding ring, which Brick delivered to the hospital for me this morning, along with Lake’s wedding ring, to match the ruby red diamond engagement ring, and state, “She just tried to touch amarriedbrother.”
“Mother fucker you married Lake without us!” Fury shouts with well fury, and I notice Lake, who is now holding Hudson, which makes me snort, slowly slide away from a scowling Ivy.
Classic, hiding behind a child when she’s pregnant.
Ignoring Fury’s outburst and the glares I’m currently getting from all brothers except my dad who is trying his hardest not to laugh, I look at a wide eyed Cherri who can’t take her eyes off my wedding ring and boom, “I hear by put in a vote, if Cherri hits on one more taken brother whether they are married in the eyes of the club and /or law or has a partner she is out on her ass!”
“But-but, I’m your wife’s mother, I’m your mother-in-law, you can’t do this, you-you’re supposed to take care of me now,” Cherri stutters, and I hear my wife scoff while Randy snorts, “Fucking saw that coming from a mile away.”
Ignoring her, I call, “All in favor?!”
“Aye!” The room vibrates with the fierceness of the brothers ‘aye’, not one declining, and I grin as I look at Cherri and whisper, “If I were you, I’d be on my best behavior, because one wrong move, I will kick you out no matter what my wife says.”
Cherri’s eyes tear and she chokes, “What is that supposed to mean?”
I snarl, “It means Lake didn’t want to see you lose the roof over your head. You should be kissing my wife’s feet right now because she is the only reason why you are still here, even if she wants fuck all to do with you,” I shove her back making her gaspas she stumbles before I threaten, “If you go near my daughter when she’s born, I won’t kick you out, I’ll kill you.”
Glaring hard at her, I walk around her and over to my girl, who is still side eyeing a pissed off Ivy.
“You allowed her to marry you without me there!” she snaps as soon as I’m close, and I chuckle, shaking my head as I gently grab a happy Hudson from his auntie, throwing him in the air a few times, making him squeal before I hold him close.
“Hey, he was saving me,” Lake says with a gasp and I remind her, “Our daughter automatically saves you, shorty,” but she denies, “Not from a pinch she doesn’t,” just as Ivy pinches her arm and I laugh but it cuts off when I feel a presence beside me and I side eye an angry, Blade, Fury, Medic, Psycho and Venom.
“You can’t hit me, I have a brain injury and I’m holding a baby,” I try, and Blade snorts while Psycho sighs, “I understand why you did it the way you did, I don’t like it, but I understand.”
I soften towards them as I hand Hudson to his mama, knowing I’m about to kill someone, and Lake admits, “Actually, it was my idea,” shocking them, and I help her stand before wrapping my arm around her waist and pulling her into me.
Fuck, she fits just right in my arms and how I managed months without her, I’ll never know.
“What do you mean?” Ivy asks, and Lake looks at me and smiles, and I smile back as I reply for her, “Lake asked me to marry her while in the hospital. I called Brick without hesitation, he did the rest.”
“Lake,” Ivy gasps with adoration, which makes me chuckle while the brothers nod with approval.
She fought for me.
Smiling, I gently cup her cheek and ask, “Are you tired?” She nods as she leans into my touch, and I look at Ivy and ask, “Can you take her back to my place?”
Ivy sniffles but nods, making me chuckle again before I gently kiss my wife.
Tonight, we consummate our marriage. There is no more holding back, and nearly seven months without sex, I’m feeling it, my balls are blue as fuck.
“I won’t be long,” I mutter, and her eyes race between mine before she nods and kisses me again, then allows Ivy to pull her away while she grills her.
