The knowledge knocked him sideways.

He was mated. Auston belonged tohim.

“That’s it, baby,” Auston whispered in his ear. “You’re doing so good.”

Chase mewled as Auston’s knot began to swell, catching on his rim once before locking inside. Fuck, it was so goddamn big, a fist in his gut, cock so deep it felt as if it were in his guts. Chase could barely breathe, it felt so fucking perfect.

It pushed into his prostate, an incessant pressure that wiped every other thought right out of his head.

He was so full. Split in two.

He came with a shout, not even a hand on him, but Auston didn’t miss a beat, jerking him off until a second orgasm hit him.

Chase clenched down, body shaking, and Auston was coming too, filling him up, so much come that Chase could feel his abdomen extending.

He drifted away.

“Baby.”

“Mmh.” Chase had been awake for a few minutes, just hovering on the edge of sleep, but he opened his eyes to see Auston hovering over him.

Chase’s body was still thrumming with heat, mind foggy. The bond beat in his neck, his chest, deeper still, pulling him towards Auston.

Chase went gladly.

“Daddy.” He sighed, and Auston smiled, wide and inviting.

Chase leaned up for a kiss, chaste. Auston pulled away. “I’ve ordered breakfast, okay? They’ll leave it outside the door, but someone will knock.”

Chase blinked, peering around, truly taking his surroundings in for the first time in a while.

Discomfort wiggled into his stomach. They were too exposed. The sheets were thin, kicked aside. There was nothing to keep their little space contained.

“Hey. Baby, what’s wrong?” Auston asked quickly, eyes wide.

“We need blankets. And pillows.”

The frown on Auston’s face cracked into a grin. “Oh—no problem. I’ll ask for some nesting stuff.”

Chase nodded, but he needed to get to work. He slid off the bed and onto wobbly legs, Auston right there to hold him steady. He searched their suitcase for dirty clothes, putting them aside. He looked in the fridge, and Auston helped him to put some bottles on the bedside table, making him drink one first. There was a knock on the door not long after, and Chase stayed in the room as Auston got it.

Chase peeked into the living room when the door closed—he had been able to smell the person who had arrived. An Omega, he was pretty sure, although he couldn’t say exactly why he thought that.

There was a whole cart piled with food, but Chase went straight for the shrink-wrapped nesting material, ripping it open. It smelt…fine. Of nothing, really.

Auston trailed after him. “Let’s eat something first.”

Chase shook his head. He had to make the nest. Everything else could wait.

Auston didn’t push, scenting things if Chase asked him to, helping if Chase allowed. Chase wished he had his own stuff—the stuff Daddy had bought him—but his nest didn’t turn out too bad.

“Perfect, baby,” Auston said once Chase was done. “Let’s go eat, yeah?”

Auston dragged Chase away, sitting on the couch with Chase on his lap, plate on the coffee table, everything cut up into little pieces.

Chase was starving all of a sudden, stomach growling. Auston gave him the mango smoothie first, watching Chase suck it down before turning to the pancakes. Auston picked up a piece, sliding it through syrup and lifting it to Chase’s lips, sticky and sweet.
