He didn’t realise he was going to come until he was right at its edge. Panic spiked. He tapped Auston’s hand frantically, causing it to drop away, the body behind him freezing.
Auston started saying something, but Chase cut in. “Can I come? Please, please—”
“Fuck. Yeah, baby. You can come.”
Chase went weak with relief, a sob bubbling out of him—he truly didn’t know how he would have handled having to stop.
He dragged Auston’s hand back in place, knowing that, otherwise, the whole fucking bar was about to find out what was happening.
Auston pulled him closer, regaining his rhythm, fucking him without an ounce of mercy. The edge of pleasure came up to meet him again, and he hovered there for eternal seconds, body trembling, chest clenching, and then—
He screamed low in his throat as he came. Every atom that made him up aligned into something new, something washed clean, something without worry. It was him and Auston and the pleasure that ran across them both.
Chase regained consciousness still wrapped in Auston’s arm. Auston was coming inside him—he could feel the hot splash of it inside him, the way Auston pulsed, filling him up.
Tears dug tracks down Chase’s cheeks, pooling on the fingers still muffling his cries.
Time undid itself. Chase was slumped on Auston’s chest. He was being cleaned up. The plug was sliding into his sore hole, plugging Auston’s come inside.
He blinked sleepily as Auston’s big hands stroked his face.
“Baby. Open your eyes for me, honey.”
Chase blinked. Auston’s face swam into view.
“I’m gonna take you to the hotel now, okay? Can you walk?”
He processed the words.Couldhe walk? He tested it, legs wobbly but not dumping him to the ground, although he had to lean on Auston.
“Good. Can you unlock your phone for me? I’m gonna send Sammy a text.”
Chase’s fingers were numb, but he managed to do it, dozing against Auston’s side as the Alpha typed something before tucking the phone away.
“Okay, sweetheart. Let’s go.”
He had no idea how they got out of the bar. He didn’t know why he was so loopy, but it was as if the intensity of what had just happened had emptied him out. It wasn’t a bad feeling, really, as long as Auston stayed beside him.
He was safe. Could float wherever he was without worry.
He returned to his body as it was being tucked into bed, Auston climbing behind him and plastering them together.
Chase muttered something incomprehensible. He’d been made to drink some water, and brush his teeth, and change into his pyjamas, but he couldn’t remember what else.
“Daddy?”
Auston shifter, raising on an elbow to look at his face. “You back with me?”
Chase frowned. “Where did I go?”
Auston smiled, stroking his cheek. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” Chase said automatically but then actually stopped to assess. He felt…amazing. As if he’d been filled with pain and it had suddenly been taken away.
Which was ironic since his body was aching, but even that felt good.
“Yeah,” Chase repeated.
Auston brushed his nose on Chase’s temple and left a kiss there. “Is that what you wanted?”
