Colby reached for Milo and freed his dick from the panties. God, they’d barely been holding him in and they were practically see-through from his precum leaking all over them.

“Milo, I’m close…” Colby didn’t know if he said it as a warning for Milo to slow down or as a plea to hurry up, but Milo didn’t change pace or rhythm, not until Colby cried out and let go, his hips thrusting up into Milo as he jerked him.

He came so hard he saw stars. And Milo. Gorgeous, wonderful, beautiful Milo.

“God, I fucking love you.” Colby pulled Milo close and yanked him into a kiss. Milo fucked himself on Colby’s over-sensitivecock until he was coming apart. Nothing but breath and sweat and sweet words whispered against Colby’s lips.

“I love you. I love you. I love you,” Milo said, over and over until he was sweaty and spent and collapsed against Colby.

Colby wound his arms around Milo and kissed his temple.

“I’m going to keep you,” Colby told him. He couldn’t imagine living without Milo even for a day. From that first moment in the gym, Colby had known he was a goner.

Milo kissed Colby’s shoulder. “I’m going to let you.”

EPILOGUE

MILO

“If you don’t hurry,we’re going to be late.” Milo called to Colby, who was still in the bathroom getting ready. “I swear. I’m the one who wears makeup but I end up waiting for you.”

Colby appeared finally and snagged his keys off the table by the door. He leaned in and brushed a kiss against Milo’s cheek. “Relax. I’ve been late before.”

“Yes, but I haven’t. I have a perfectly punctual track record and I’d like to keep it that way.”

Colby rolled his eyes but ushered Milo out the door. “I promise to break any and all traffic laws necessary to get us to your waffles in time.”

Milo shoved Colby. “Just for that, we’re taking the stairs. It’s faster.”

Milo had been going to breakfast with Colby and his family at their diner for the past four months. It was often the highlight of his week. Colby seemed to love that everyone loved Milo.

Despite not breaking any traffic laws, they arrived just in time. There were some recent additions to the diner family. Josie, who Milo had met at the shelter, had landed a job at the diner, working part-time in the kitchen and part-time out front.

It wasn’t long after Milo had started volunteering at the shelter that it came up in conversation. Ethan, not one to turn away someone in need, had told Milo to send anyone his way who might need some job experience.

Josie had been the obvious choice and she’d fit right in as though she’d always worked there. Now, on Sundays, she took over in the kitchen for Taylor so everyone could sit and eat. Since their group had grown, they’d rearranged the diner to accommodate their large party. Three kids, plus their two partners, plus Ethan, plus Nash and Damon who showed up whenever they could, it was a lot.

Milo loved it.

He pulled the door to the diner open, his heart skipping happily at the sound of the bells jingling overhead. Colby followed behind, one hand on Milo’s lower back. Another thing Milo loved. The way Colby always wanted to touch him. Whether it be holding his hand or slipping an arm around him, he was never shy about laying claim in public.

Milo strode across the diner and grabbed the seat next to Ethan.

“Hey, Dad,” he said. That was another relatively new thing.

It had been ages since Milo felt like he was part of a family and it wasn’t the reason he loved Colby, but it was definitely a perk.

Ethan pulled Milo into a side hug. “Hey, kiddo. How was your week?”

Milo still slung drinks at night, which he didn’t mind. He could sleep after work and then still have plenty of time for his volunteer work. And now that Colby was on night shift at the gym, they could spend time together during the day.

“Did you hear what your son did?” Milo asked, ignoring the way Colby groaned.

“It’s not a big deal.”

“It is too,” Milo argued. He turned to Ethan. “Not to be outdone by his stunning boyfriend, Colby set up a program at the gym with one of the boxers who has experience in self-defense training and he’s sponsored free classes for people who want to take them. For whatever reason.”

Sometimes the people Milo helped weren’t ready for a step like that; it was a lot to take on for some people. But others found it empowering.
