I pulled back the sheets on my bed, gesturing for her to lay down. “I’ll order us some pizza.”

She sat on the bed, but didn’t lay down as she eyed the very obvious bulge in my jeans.

Crouching before her -this was quickly becoming my favorite thing to do around her- I took her hands in mine. “Why don’t you lay back and turn on some TV while I’m calling the pizza place?”

She eyed me. “How am I going to do that when your cock is teasing me?”

I smiled. “I can go in the other room.”

She frowned. “Maybe I don’t want pizza for dinner.”

I chuckled, my thumb absentmindedly rubbing circles on the back of her hand. “A lot happened tonight, Oak, and I probably shouldn’t have distracted you the way I did, but you’re hard to resist.”

“That was the best way to distract me. Believe me.”

“Let’s eat some food, watch some trashy reality TV show, and see how you’re feeling, okay?”

Her eyes lit up. “You like trashy reality TV?”

My smile widened. “No, but I got the hunch that you do.”

She tipped her nose up. “There’s nothing better than watching cheesy drama between people you don’t know to get your mind off the day.”

“I guess we’ll find out,” I said as I stood.

Her jaw almost fell to the floor. “You’ve never watched reality TV?”

I shook my head. “Don’t really have time for TV.”

“Well, you’re going to need to find time because you and I are going to binge Jersey Shore.”

“Jersey Shore? Isn’t that the one show with those Italians who just go around to clubs and yell at each other?”

She beamed up at me. “You’re already more invested than I gave you credit for.”

I sighed, my lips still pulled into a smile.

I didn’t care what Oakley and I did, as long as it was together.

I’d watch all the trashy TV drama shows with her.

Taste every inch of her while we did it, too.

After Lennon insisted I take the day off work, we binge-watched Jersey Shore practically all day, in between us being unable to keep our hands off each other, and dropping the rental car back off at the rental place.

Leo and Jacey had covered the store yesterday, and Lennon already had a window repairman working on the front of the store, along with getting more secure locks installed. I was originally scheduled with Leo today, but Lennon had told him not to come in. He wasn’t exactly happy with Leo right now, but he also wanted to give him a break after he’d been covering so much the past few days.

The conversation between the two of them was inevitable, but I hoped the time in between the break-in and their talk would help Lennon calm down a bit. He was as hard as stonewhen he called Leo yesterday morning to ask him to cover our shifts with Jacey. He was holding back what he really wanted to say, waiting to do it in person.

I didn’t blame Leo for what happened, and I knew Lennon didn’t either, but if Leo had been at the store like he should have been, Lennon may not be so worked up over it. Although, I was coming to find that Lennon didn’t like the idea of me being put in harm’s way regardless of who I was with or where I was.

Lennon was signing the paperwork for the repair on the window when the bell above the door dinged.

And none other than JP walked in.
