There was a smart knock at the front door to the suite, which had Penny jumping upward.
“It’s okay,” Rachel reassured her, dropping a kiss on her forehead. “It’s just breakfast. Why don’t you get showered and dressed whilst I set up?”
Blonde curls bounced as Penelope nodded her acquiescence.
“And I’d like you to pick one of your hucow outfits please.”
Blue eyes widened, but Rachel could see Penelope’s anticipation in them. She jumped out of bed and hastened to the bathroom as Rachel opened the door so the tray of breakfast things could be placed on the table.
This was going to be the perfect start to the day.
CHAPTER 11
Penelope
The day was going to involve leaving their suite, of that Penelope was pretty certain. And as much as the tiniest skirt and cutest pink bra made up her favorite hucow outfit, Penny wasn’t entirely positive she was ready for that just yet.
So instead she picked out a pink cow-print skirt, which actually reached her knees, and paired it with a pretty pink top that didn’t shout hucow, but certainly kept Penelope in mind of strawberries.
She wanted to look cute; that was part of the appeal of being a hucow. She wanted to turn large beseeching eyes on Rachel and get all the pleasure that she’d ever dreamed of.
When she came bounding up to the table, she saw that Rachel had laid it and placed a bowl on the table.
It was filled with what looked like hay.
“Wha—”
“I believe it’s similar to Shredded Wheat, only shredded even further. It does look like hay, doesn’t it, Strawberry Moo?”
“I… yes. Yes, it does.” Penelope adjusted the cow ears that she wore and stepped forward and sat down when Rachel pulled out the chair for her.
“Don’t worry, I’m not a monster,” said Rachel with a laugh. “You can add milk to this. But if you’re really good and eat up all your breakfast, I’ve got a special treat for you afterward.”
Penny peered around the room but couldn’t see anything that could count as a treat.
Rachel just raised her eyebrow and nodded toward Penny’s cereal.
“Thank you, Miss Rachel,” said Penelope, reaching for the milk bottle and pouring just the right amount into the bowl.
The cereal was filling, but it wasn’t the taste that she was fixated on. They’d made it look like hay for her. “How?” she asked, halfway through the bowl.
“I called and asked,” explained Rachel, and then got a slightly frenzied look in her eyes. “Oh shit; I should have asked first. I’m sorry, Penny, I?—”
“It’s okay.” Penelope cut across the babble of panic that was streaming from Rachel’s mouth. “You’re all good. I said I was interested in exploring this, and we’re doing a full-time dynamic here. So, it follows that you’d have to ask for some help.”
She’d never seen Rachel look so relieved.
“Okay then. Phew. Come on, eat up.”
Penelope polished off the full bowl and then looked expectantly up at Rachel who was watching her curiously. “Well?”
“‘Well? That’s an interesting way to speak to your Domme.”
“You promised me a treat.”
“‘Pleasemay I have my treat, Miss Rachel’,” quoted Rachel in a singsong voice. “Since I’ve been such a good girl and finished my breakfast and asked so nicely.”
Penny pulled a face at Rachel.
