“Good job, little man. You picked a special one,” Dominic praises him.
I’m in awe staring at them both, his little mini-me. Equally, hands in their pockets they stare up, grinning showing their white teeth. His wandering eyes peer into mine. Dominic’s long thick lashes flutter as he winks flirtatiously.
“Are you good, Angel, having fun?” he asks, seeming very pleased with himself. He purses his lips for a kiss.
“Never been this happy I’m with my two favorite guys.”
“Me too baby.”
I sigh as I breathe in the piney aroma. The smell reminds me of those scented holiday candles. “I long for us to carry on this tradition every year,” I say with a grin.
He swallows hard. He shifts uncomfortably, his cinnamon whiskey eyes pinned to the wet dirt.
“Umm, we should get someone to help us with umm… the tree.” He turns away from me and waves down one of the workers to carry our tree to the front.
I shrug it off, putting it off for now, not wanting to ruin the moment.

“Baby, let me sit you on my shoulder, so you can reach the apples on the top.” Luckily, we found a couple of trees left as it was the last pick of the year.
“Don’t you dare drop me, Dominic.”
He flexes his biceps, and bounces his pecs.
Holy shit.
He grins stupidly.
“Daddy, that’s so cool! You’re so strong.”
Dante tries to bounce his pecs, shaking his body, he tries so hard. Instead, he puts his hands on his chest, lifting his pecs up and down.
“See, Daddy, I can do it too!”
Dominic’s shoulders shake in laughter. I do the same. Kids are so funny.
“Angel, I would not dare to drop you; I need my girl in one piece. Besides, these muscles you love to hold on to when I make love to you can hold you perfectly. Let’s not forget you’ve been on my shoulder before just facing the opposite way in the shower, my face buried between your legs,” his husky voice whispers in my ear.
A flame of heat sears my core, warming up my body from the frigid chill. My face flushes ten shades of red. His eye lasering right at my center biting his eager lips.
“I’ll replay that later,” he mutters. Dominic grips my bottom as he gently lifts me over his shoulder.
We filled a bucket of apples with enough to make an apple pie and some apple crisp, Dominic’s favorite. Luckily, I didn’t fall on my ass off Dominic’s shoulder. His hard broad powerful muscles held me up effortlessly. Driving back to my place, Dante falls asleep. We stop at a drive-thru to grab burgers for dinner.
“How’s work going? You’ve seemed off lately, you’ve seemed different. I don’t mean to pry, I’m just worried we don’t see much of you.”
He sighs, gripping the steering wheel tight. He reaches for my hand, bringing it to his mouth, pressing a soft kiss on my knuckles.
“I’m sorry, baby, work has been crazy. I’m hiring two new people this week. I have orientation and training.” He smiles weakly.
An uneasy feeling cuts into the pit of my stomach. My shoulders stiffen. Furrowing my brows. He brushes a strand of hair tucking it behind my ear.
“Come here, baby.”
I slid my way toward the center next to him. He pivots to face me. The tip of his tongue traces my lips. I inhale mint mingling in his breath. Invading my softness with his mouth, he glides it over mine. His thick tongue writhes around in mine as it explores. Dominic uses the simplest of gestures to show me how much he cares about me in place of using words. He cups my cheeks in the palms of his hands.
He intensifies the kiss. His passionate kiss deepens, and my worries, and uncertainty are forgotten. Dominic’s lips hungrily drink up mine, and I can hardly catch my breath. The sensation of his calloused thumb gently tracing my lips keeps me rooted to the moment. I stay in the embrace, savoring our swollen lips.
