As I open the door, I see Dominic with droplets of rain drizzling down his hair and face.Jesus,he always takes my breath away.
“Baby, you can ogle me some more inside, it’s cold and raining out here.”
Fuck, I got caught blushing. I take the wine, he’s holding.
“Your Nana’s not going to smack me with the broom, is she?” As he sweeps his wet shoes on the rug, with a twist of a smile, he leans in to kiss my lips.
“Hmm, not sure. She might stick a needle in your eye,” I joke.
“I’ll take the pain for you, Angel. Happy Thanksgiving, beautiful.”
I stare into those dark whisky eyes that hold so much love. A spark of desperation mirrors his beautiful, handsome face that bloomed these last couple of weeks.
“I love you,” I say, as I kiss the stubble on his cheeks.
His breath steams into my pores whispering in my ear, “I love you more, Angel, so much more.”
“Daddy, Daddy!” Dante screams.
Dominic kneels to hug him. “Happy Thanksgiving, buddy.”
Uncle Roger shakes Dominic’s hand. The last time they met had been at dad’s funeral.
“Nice to see you again, Dominic. How have you been doing? Mila tells me you’re an owner of a restaurant.”
“Yes, I opened up Delgado Steakhouse couple of years ago.” I beam with pride.
“That’s impressive for someone so young, congratulations.” Uncle Roger beams and ushers Dominic into the kitchen.
“Ahh, is that Dominic,” Nana shouts from the bathroom she’s cleaning.
“Yes, Nana he’s here,” I shout.
She sprints to him, hugging the life out of him. She pinches his cheeks just like she does to Dante.
“Que guapohow handsome,Dominic, you’ve grown into a fine young man. I would scoop you up too if I was your age.”
I groan, jeez Nana. Dominic shakes with laughter. Nana rests her hand on his shoulder.
“I’m happy to hear things are good between you two and you found your way to Mila. Dante needed his father.”
Dominic sucks in a sharp breath, his eyes dropping to his toes. I can detect a dark cloud washing over him.
“Thank you,” he whispers.
A sick feeling of nerves floods the pit of my stomach. He’s hiding something. Worrying, maybe his sick cancer could’ve returned.
As Dominic, Dante, and Uncle Roger are watching football, I go upstairs to get dressed before dinner. I stand in my walk-in closet wearing just my lacy underwear and matching bra. Suddenly, strong, masculine, warm arms wrap around my waist. He shuffles my hair to the side and kisses begin to be planted on the curve of my neck. I moan at his touch. Tilting my neck to the side to welcome more of his soft kisses on my skin.
“I need you, Angel.” His dark husky voice vibrates like a melody on my skin. His erection rubs along my ass.
I twirl around to face him, interwinding my fingers around his neck and kissing him like a savage. It’s been weeks since we’ve had sex. He proclaims he’s too busy with work and he leaves once Dante goes to bed. Somehow, I feel he’s avoiding me. I’m distraught by how much distance he’s placed between us. I’ve missed him.
“I need you too.”
Dominic unclasped my bra, freeing my breasts. “I love your big tits, baby. You’re beautiful.” He bites his bottom lip. His brown eyes flame with lust as he pinches each nipple.
My nipples grow hard as pebbles, pressing against the fabric of his dress shirt.
