“You look so hot in your Wonder Woman costume I can’t take my eyes off you. I want to go home and tear it off,” he whispers in my ear, sucking on my earlobe.

“The feeling is mutual.”

His tight muscles strain against the tight material of the costume. Damn, and those rock-hard abs, I can see his eight-pack peeking through the material. I want to run my hands through it. Those thick muscular thighs I envision wrapped around me. I let my eyes wander to his ass,Jesushis round, tight rock-hard ass I want to squeeze while he’s underneath me. Ugh, and his bulge is practically on display. My eyes rest upon his perfectly sculpted, godly body. He makes Henry Cavill look unsubstantial. I blush, thinking about where my mind is taking me.God, Mila, you’re so stupid; why did I have him wear that?Bad fucking idea.Stupid, stupid, Mila.

Women chant, “Ride me up into the sky, Superman! Can I feel those muscles, hot stuff? Yum, I want a taste of that.”

I grind my teeth; by the end of the night they will turn to dust. He grins like a kid in a candy store.Asshole.A laugh breaks from his chest. His broad laugh reaches his eyes, spreading small lines outward. His lips brush the corner of my mouth.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart? Jealous? I warned you, Angel.”

What a cocky shit. My eyes narrow into slits. Squaring my shoulders and crossing my arms. “Nope, not at all,” I lie.

He chuckles some more. “Someone’s lying.”

“Someone’s going to get suffocated by a pillow tonight.”

“I’d rather get suffocated by your breasts tonight, seems like a great way to go.” He grins.

I erupt in laughter. Next time he will be Bozo the Clown. I grab Dante’s hand leading him to different booths and shops so he can collect his candy.

“Look, Mommy, it’s Brian.”

Oh shit, no, no, no. Brian’s handing out candy next to the coffee shop. Dante runs up to him.

Dominic’s smile fades, he sneers with jealousy, his jaw twitches stiffening himself straight, dropping daggers at Brian. Brian ruffles Dante’s hair.

“Hey there, Spiderman.” Brian gazes at me, his baby blues wandering up and down my body, chewing on his bottom lip. “Hi, gorgeous.”

Before I can respond, Dominic wraps my hair around his hands, kissing me possessively in front of Brian. Like a predator stalking his claim. He breaks the kiss and his eyes bore into mine. His look indicates so many words without speaking. You’re mine, I’m yours, my everything, my universe. His brown-whiskey eyes soften into mine. I nod, reassuring himI’m yours, your mine.A relieved look washes over his face. He turns to look at Brian and smirks at him.

“Ken.”

“Satan,” Brian replies.

I snort. Brian has a backbone now. Where did it come from? I smile at Brian.

“Hi, how have you been?”

“Good,” he mummers.

Guilt washes over me. He’s a good guy, a sweet, caring, and beautiful man. I know there might have been something there if Dominic and I hadn’t happened. He was easy, maybe too easy. I don’t regret him or sleeping with him. I do know he would have never had all of me. My heart and soul belonged to one man.

“Happy Halloween, Brian. Have a good night.”

He nods.

“Bye, Brian.” Dante waves.

We walk a couple of blocks down to the carnival. Dante asks to ride a couple of rides. We hand our tickets to a tall man escorting us to our seats securing us on the Ferris wheel. Dante sits between us. A flood of memories wash over me. Teenage Mila sat in this spot, making out the whole time with Dominic. I smile at the memory. Dominic gently tucks a lock of hair behind my ear. His whiskey-brown eyes blaze into mine.

“I remember it all, baby,” he whispers softly.

“Remember what, Daddy?” Dante asks. His forehead creases as he glances up at Dominic.

“Before you were born, your mom and I used to come here and get on the Ferris wheel.”
