Brinley

Brinley:Red alert: I need a dress for The Date with Dean on Friday. Help!

Bailey:Dude, I'm on it. What color do you prefer?

Esa:Make sure it's a short dress. You got killer legs, girl.

Brinley:Maybe red? And thank you.

Bailey:Consider it done. I'll swing by Friday afternoon to deliver the goods.

Esa:And I'll be there to help with hair and make-up.

Brinley:Bejeezus, this dating thing is quite a production.

Bailey:Wait till you plan to sleep with him...hahahaha

I threw my phone down and paced my apartment. Sleep with him? I was trying to get through the first date without blowing it. I couldn't even think about sleeping with him at the moment. Although I kept thinking about that shower when just picturing his body got me off. I think my body liked him. Maybe I needed to think a bit more with my body and less with my head.

Was it Friday yet?

Dean

I pulled Brinley's foot into my lap, like always, and massaged her ankle as she cooled down on the mat in the gym. I was trying my best to remain professional, but goddamn, just knowing I'd have her all to myself tonight was putting a serious strain on my concentration.

And on my shorts.

I absolutely had to taste her tonight. Her body in those tight leggings, her facial expressions, her determination, the way she could cut me with a few simple words...it all turned me on. Now I needed to see if the spark was there when I kissed her. It had to be, and I knew it would be incredible.

"You ready to hear our plans for tonight?" My question was for her ears only. I didn't need my coworkers knowing I was dating a client. It wasn't against the rules or anything, but I preferred to keep my personal life separate as much as possible. Ashley, the front desk girl, was all in my face already. She was cute, and obvious with her interest. Plain and simple, I didn't want to date her. I also didn't want her to hear I was dating Brinley and give her a hard time. I didn't need Brinley to have any more reasons to run.

"I hope it does involve me in a dress, because that's what I'm prepared for." Brinley gave me the cutest smirk I'd ever seen. If I wasn't trying so hard not to get my hopes up too soon, I'd say she was flirting with me.

I leaned in a little closer and dug my thumb into the arch of her foot, just to hear her low moan. She tried to hide it from me, but I heard it. My new mission was to get her to do that moan again, even louder. "Even if what I planned didn't involve a dress, I'd change plans right now just to make sure I got to see you in it." Her eyes widened and I could almost see the wheels turning in her head. Please God, don't let her have a ridiculous joke right now.

She opened her mouth. Then closed it. Then opened it again.

"Okay....so, what are the plans?" She was acting like I hadn't said anything, but the red spots growing on her cheeks told me she heard me. I needed to find out if my flirting made her uncomfortable because she wasn't used to it and didn't know how to flirt back, or because she didn't like it.

"I'd like to pick you up, head to an activity, then to dinner. A dress and some sort of high heels would be great. We're gonna have fun and get to know each other. Sound good?" I'd hold off on the hardcore flirting and give her some space. At least until I had her in my truck and we were officially on our date.

She nodded her head. "That sounds like fun. I have the dress and the heels, but no guarantees how I’ll walk in them. I'm more accustomed to walking barefoot in the sand."

"Then you'll just have to hang onto my arm and I'll make sure you stay upright." Okay, so maybe my plan to halt the flirting wouldn't work.

But she smiled back at me and lowered her eyes, so I'd say she liked the idea.

"Come on, let's get you to your car so you can go home and get ready for our date." I stood up and reached down for her. She put her hand in mine and I helped lift her up. Her eyes never left mine, and I was so damn tempted to pull her in and feel her body up against me. I went against my body's instincts and let her go, remembering I was at work, and walked her out to her car. Tonight couldn't come fast enough.
