“I’m fantastic.” It’s true enough. “Just trying not to fall into an orgasm coma.”

He chuckles and takes my hand, kissing the knuckles.

“We’re here.”

The car pulls up to a tall building with red awnings and banners hung all over.

“The Strand? Oh my God. I’ve been wanting to go to this place!”

He took me to a bookstore. A four-story one. I could literally spend all day here picking out books to add to my ever growing ‘to be read’ pile. I still haven’t read all the books he bought and stocked in his library.

“Wait… those books you bought me. How did you know which ones to get?”

“I found your wishlist on your social media pages. You keep it up to date despite not posting content. So, I went through your list and bought some of the books on it.”

“What about my perfume? You bought Amber Romance. How’d you know that’s one of my favs?”

He shrugs. “Lana. When I called her for a reference, I explained how you moved here with next to nothing. I told her I was going to buy you everything you needed, and she remembered how much you loved that perfume.”

“The towels? Did she tell you to buy the bigger ones?”

“She did.”

“You’re too good to me.”

“Oh, my love, I’m only getting started. I plan to spoil you and worship you and give you any and everything you could ever ask for.”

“That’s a bit dramatic, don’t you think?” I tease. “Kinda obsessive. Do I need to file a restraining order?”

He growls in the most delicious way and grabs me by the throat to attack me with rough kisses. My panties melt and I’m suddenly ready for round two of car sex (that was my first time fucking someone in a car and I will definitely do it again with this man.)

He releases me, and I’m not even going to think about my swollen and red lips as we exit the SUV.

“Let’s go get you some spicy romance books,” Reynold says, walking behind me.

I glance around, but the paparazzi are nowhere to be found. This stop must not have been on the approved sighting list. We enter the double doors to a massive space lit up bright and packed with tall bookcases and tables filled with books.

“Where’s everyone at?” I scan the store but find no customers. I only spot a couple of employees standing at checkout.

“They closed an hour ago. The owner was happy to keep the store open for us after my sizable donation. I also made a matching donation to some local reading programs. I promised a nice write up about it in Entertainment Now next week too.”

“You’re so disgustingly rich,” I snort.

“Disgusting, huh?” He grabs me by the waist and tugs my body against his.

“Yeah. So gross. Too rich for my blood.”

He rubs his palms up and down my back and grinds his cock into my stomach, already getting hard despite fucking in the car just minutes ago.

“But,” I add, “you’re also not selfish with your wealth. You pay your staff exorbitantly and donate to a lot of charities. So, I’ll forgive you.”

“And how do you know all this? I thought you didn’t Google me.”

I shrug. “I might have caved. And I had a nice conversation with your house manager, Brenda. The amount you’re paying me was… a lot. Too much, honestly. I wanted to know if that’s just what you do. And… it is.”

He leans in and kisses me deeply.

Men I’ve dated were never into PDA. I always thought it was because they were ashamed to be with me. But Reynold? He’s almost too eager to show me off. When we part, I peer over at the employees.
