“Who are you? What’s your name?”

“Aren’t you the lady on the plane?”

Wait, what? How did they know? Were there pictures? I never looked and Reynold didn’t tell me. I only know about the pictures of me out with Lana. I didn’t even read the article that reported those photos.

We stop before getting into the car and turn to face the mob. Reynold prepared me for some questions they might ask. He even told me how he’d answer them because ‘who’ I am to Rey Michaelson, famous actor, is the most important one.

“This is my girlfriend, Savannah. Fatherhood is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Filming is going well. And fuck you to whoever asked that question about Mylan.”

The vultures aren’t even phased.

“Is it true you two met on a plane?” a woman asks, her eyes on me.

“Yes,” I answer before Reynold can. “He asked me to be his nanny for Adeline.”

A few eyes widen, some photographers chuckle.

“Lowering your standards, aren’t ya, Rey?” some asshole in the back quips.

My face heats, and my heart roars inside my chest. Reynold starts for the man, but I hold him back by the elbow with shaky hands.

“Who said that?” I ask and the men in front of me shrink back slightly. I lock eyes with the only guy smirking. “Was it you?”

He shrugs.

“Explain to me what you mean by that.”

His smile falters, but he holds his chin up high. “I mean he’s an A-list celebrity and you’re just some fa—”

“I’m going to stop you before you say a word that will piss me off. Because I punched the last guy who pissed me off.”

A chorus of “ooo’s” spread through the photographers.

“You seem unhappy. A sad, sad man. An adult bully and that’s embarrassing. I’m embarrassed for you.”

The man’s face darkens red.

“If you think your words can bring me down, just remember that I’m the one dating a movie star. I’m the one who’s living my best life while you’re just some troll hiding behind a camera, putting others down to make yourself feel better. Do you?”

He gulps. “Do I... what?”

“Feel better about yourself? Knowing that the world will look at you and see a coward full of hate?”

I don’t even let him answer. I turn away from the gaggle and the door to the car is already open for me. Someone shuts it behind me. One of Reynold’s bodyguards, maybe. I hadn’t even noticed them there.

My ears ring and I’m feeling lightheaded. I can’t believe that just happened. What did I say? Did it even make sense? Was my comeback good enough?

Before I can ask myself any more questions, a hand grabs my arm and I’m tugged across the leather seat.

Reynold kisses my temple and wraps his arm around my shoulders.

“That was fucking beautiful, my love.”

He rubs his palm up and down my arm and buries his nose in my hair.

Tears pool in my eyes as my adrenaline fades, but Reynold’s words quickly ignite my body with lust.

I leap out of my seat and settle in his lap. My dress rides up in a puddle at my waist. What follows is a mess of kisses and his hands everywhere. I grind on his dick, which gets harder with each frenzied move I make.
