“God damn you’re beautiful.” I growl out as I stalk towards her until I’m standing over her. Her eyes find mine and her smile slips. That’s when I notice she’s shaking like a leaf.

“Damn it! I was trying to be all badass and all I did was embarrass myself again.” She says as she buries her face in my chest. Before I can reassure her though, Angel pops up beside us.

“Oh, girl you were totally badass walking in like that. Last time I saw a girl look that badass was when Kam walked into the clubhouse dressed like a club girl.” George looks up at Angel like she’s her savior.

“You should have seen her; this sexy corset deal with these leather looking leggings that encased her legs. Totally badass, just like this little number. Welcome to the family by the way.” Before I know what is happening Angel pulls George out of my arms and hugs her tightly. She’s then passed around to all the girls for chatting, laughter, and hugs. They welcomed her with open arms and based off the smile on George’s face she was loving it. When she came back over to me, I pulled her in for a tight hug and light kiss.

“Told you they’d love you.” She melts against me, a happy sigh on her lips. If I could stay in this moment, I could die a happy man, but unfortunately, there is a problem that needs fixed first. My girl knows this too, so when she pulls away from me and faces my crew, I can’t help but feel nothing but pride.

“Alright enough mushy shit, it’s time to plan Rodney’s demise. The sooner he’s gone the sooner I can feel safe and be claimed by Rooster.” There are nods of approval around the room as they take her in. My girl may have fears, but she’s also got a spine of steel.

“And I want to be claimed by Rooster sooner rather than later.” She adds as she smiles at me, holding my hand tightly.

Over the next several hours, we go over a plan of attack, George giving us as many details as she can about the layout of Rodney’s compound. It’s less of a compound and more of a junkyard with a warehouse he does his business out of. What works in our favor is the fence Rodney was so nice to install for his security.

“With a fence trapping all of his little pack inside the junkyard they will be like shooting fish in a barrel. We have the element of surprise on our side so with luck it won’t take long.” Everyone around the table nods as we stand around a sketch George made of the layout.

“Me, Shadow, Demon, and Shyla will go in first. They should be able to assess the situation. Once we have an idea of what’s inside waiting then they can communicate with Wraith, so the second wave won’t have any surprises.” I wait for any arguments, but everyone seems to be on the same page as me.

“What about me?” George asks and I know she’s going to hate what I’m about to tell her, but I need to know she’s safe while I take care of the problem.

“I need you here where it’s safe. Stonewall will stay with you and since Angel can’t shift, she’ll stay with you.” She nods her agreement, but her eyes say she’s not happy about it. I doubt they’ll come to the house, but just in case leaving Stonewall with them is a good idea. Stonewall is the best choice to stay with her. Between his ability to negate powers and the fact that he’s built like a Sherman Tank, he’s s force to be reckoned with.

GEORGE

Rooster thinks I’m a damsel in distress, not that he’s wrong per se, but I wasn’t always this way. Before Rodney came into my life, I was strong, I felt like I could conquer the world, but then he shattered me. Rodney took all my self-confidence, tossed it in the dirt then ground it in with the heel of his boot until it was dust. Now Rooster thinks I’m some kind of China doll who needs him to handle all my shit.

While Rooster is making plans to attack Rodney, I’m making plans of my own; plans that involve me taking care of my own problems. I’ve held my family back because I believed Rodney when he said he had powerful allies. Now that I know he doesn’t have those powerful allies anymore I’m about to flip the script on his ass.

Lying to Rooster is killing me, but I need to do this for me. I need to take back who I am, and the first step to doing that is to take care of Rodney myself. Excusing myself with the excuse of needing to use the bathroom, I text the one person I swore never to contact again.

Me: I need to see you.

Dickless Weasel: I knew you’d come crawling back to me.

He can think whatever the fuck he wants as long as he meets me, I don’t give a fuck.

Me: Can you meet me at the bar in two hours?

The bar will be empty, and I know dad keeps a shotgun behind the counter.

Dickless Weasel: Why don’t you come to me?

Rolling my eyes, I reply with an excuse I know will get him to meet me.

Me: Because I need you to prove to me that you really love me. I need you to erase that memory for me.Nothing will erase that memory, but if it gets him to meet me, I don’t give a shit.

Dickless Weasel: Anything for you baby. I’ll do you so good you’ll forget you ever saw me with that whore.Sure, you will asshole, you probably just want your dick wet.

Me: Thank you babe, I’ll see you in two hours.

Now to get the second part of my plan done. This is going to break all the rules my family has in place, but it’s necessary to fix my mistakes. I just hope my dad will forgive me for what I’m about to do.

Me: Brody meet me by the creek. Please forgive me Brody for what I’m about to make you do.

Brody: What’s wrong?
